hm, someone on the old boards once came up with a good answer. "They don't defy the laws of nature or physics, the defy the laws as we humans understand them so far".

This match is more debated than Godzilla vs Gamera, and I say Destroyah wins. If he could tank Meltdown Godzilla's Spiral Blasts, then SG doesn't have much of a chance. Granted he could survive for a while in this fight, but his Corona Beams will do nothing more than piss off Dessy, who will soon bring him down with his deadly weapons.

Kiryu didn't revive this match, godzilla280 did and shame on him for doing that. Dead things should stay dead.

Oh and SG gets my vote. Dessy is durable as skreeonk, but the only reliable weapon that can do massive damage on SG is the Laser Horn and Dessy doesn't bring it out often. The MO beam might bring SG down to the ground, but I don't see it doing any massive damage to him.

Look at it logically.Destoroyah took numerous Uber spiral beams to the floral pattern and survived.SG doesn't have brains anyway. He didn't use his shield, didn't finish off MOGERA and Godzilla when he first fought each, and chose an area with ONLY ONE BUILDING to create his fortress. And he is miserable in hand to hand. Destoroyah beat the holy crap out of Godzilla.

When did this happen? Des got his ass handed to him the moment he started getting hit by proper Spiral beams.

SG doesn't have brains anyway. He didn't use his shield, didn't finish off MOGERA and Godzilla when he first fought each, and chose an area with ONLY ONE BUILDING to create his fortress.

If SG doesn't have brains, Des has a vacuum in his skull. He could have killed Godzilla after dropping him in the water by going OD on him like he did the fish in the aquarium. He could have EASILY lopped off Godzilla's head with his Laser Horn.

And your last point there isn't even a legitimate one. The fortress needs one tower, and it works like a lightning rod. It'd be stupid to set it up in an area full of huge buildings. Not only would that make it harder to defend the tower, but it would also negatively affect the tower's ability to do its job in the first place.

And he is miserable in hand to hand. Destoroyah beat the holy crap out of Godzilla.

Again, when did this happen? The closest Des came to "beating the holy crap out of Godzilla" in melee was when he dragged Godzilla across the ground with his tail before dumping him in the water. Unless you're counting the Laser Horn, which he doesn't use often or effectively.

Which is better at melee combat is really a moot point anyway, since 90% of the battle will consist of them sitting back and shooting each other. And SG far surpasses Des in that category.

Can Destoroyah actually use a Oxygen Destroyer effect in a huge scale? Because saying he could've used it on Godzilla as he did against the fish supposes that he can actually replicate that as a giant monster, which isn't very clear since apparently the OD was confirmed to be as deadly on air. So either Destoroyah doesn't need to be on water at all or he cannot replicate that feat when gigantic.

No, he can't do it while he's in his Final form. He'd have to break down into the Micro form, which we know he's capable of doing because we watched it happen after Godzilla jacked him up.

Destroyer looked like that kinda of Monster that wanted to beat Godzilla on Godzilla's playing field when he could have just broke down like you said IR and then it costed him the fight.

So his final form sucks more than his non-final form?

The Blue Demon crushes the crusty crustacean! Someone referred to this topic so I though: Hey why the hell not? After battling for days Destoroyah is whittle down to nothing and loses.
