That might work if the pattern wasn't already open before he ever shot his beam.

I'm not denying that the three shots did all sorts of damage to Destroyah's exposed insides. I'm just saying the durability Destroyah showed at the end, where he took several shots from the uber-spiral ray to the chest and one to the face and was still alive and intact, is his true durability and the one people should be using in this fight.

Oh my God, that scene lasted like 2 seconds, MAYBE.

Its a special effects goof thats on screen in the blink of an eye, AND its obscured by Destoroyah's claws AND the resulting explosion.

The goof is just that; a goof. Its non-canon. The sequence that followed however, is.

So whats my point? That his chest pattern being open was a goof resulting from the deleted scene, that Godzilla blew open Destoroyah's chest pattern with his beams, and that PEOPLE NEED TO STOP OVERANALYZING THIS SHIT.

Did you even read that paragraph in my last post?

Yes, but I was specifically addressing the whole chest pattern thing.

Destroyah has a weakness to low temperatures. Think about it.

Yeah, but fridges aren't minus 180 degrees. And where would Spacegodzilla even find a kaiju sized -180 temperature fridge anyway?

Jk

I know it's a joke.

This kinda bugs me.

Can it really be called a weakness when it's minus 180 degrees? Granted Godzilla lasted longer then Destroyah but he was burning and I think minus 180 degrees would be a weakness to pretty much anybody considering how freaking cold it is.

Movie logic
NO WAIT, this is Godzilla logic, where kaiju can slide down on their tails dispite being 3 times as big, can get powez from anything, and can reproduce without questioning

Makes more sense if you don't think aboutit

So giant monsters can jump 500 meters in the air, can survive impossible environments, and we the humans can gain enough money to build a mech in 1 years time

Just look at it like this. Kaiju are not animals in the normal sense. In actuality, they seem to be an entirely new kingdom, despite their similarities to normal animals. Thus, the reason for all their crazy tricks.

Thats how I get by.

hm, someone on the old boards once came up with a good answer. "They don't defy the laws of nature or physics, the defy the laws as we humans understand them so far".

This match is more debated than Godzilla vs Gamera, and I say Destroyah wins. If he could tank Meltdown Godzilla's Spiral Blasts, then SG doesn't have much of a chance. Granted he could survive for a while in this fight, but his Corona Beams will do nothing more than piss off Dessy, who will soon bring him down with his deadly weapons.
My most wanted fight ever is Discord vs Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.
