What a joke. if you noted Godzilla's facial expression while he was doing it, it was clear that he was putting everything he had left in him to muster enough strength to do it. Just a few years earlier, he body slammed the shit out of Ghidorah and Hedorah. At this point, Godzilla was capable of ripping off body parts from Monsters in Zone Fighter, Incapacitate Gigan and burn other monsters much easily with his beam. Yes, his beam got alot stronger. One shot to Titanosaur's chest, and the dino went down.

So yes, this Godzilla has the capacity to easily murder showa rodan.

This is pretty much like saying that Kid goku from the King Piccolo saga would loose to Yamcha, simply because he and Yamcha were even in their first fight.

For once i agree with you. There is a substantial difference in power between 60's Godzilla and 70's Godzilla.

Everyone is missing the most important thing 70's Godzilla was fighting evenly with King Ghidorah so he at least doubled his power.

What!!??

The 70's Godzilla was beating the tar out of KG. And there is nothing special about beating KG, considering that it can't effectively hurt his opponents either.

King Ghidorah takes a beating before giving up.

1. It took 60's Godzilla and Rodan to drive off KG in MZ and that might not even be a full win even if KG couldn't fight which he could up in till Gigan that is impressive for KG.

2. Ghidorah only sucked at fighting in Godzilla vs Gigan and he was still fingnting evenly with 70's Godzilla in till the end where Angurius joined in, in GTTHM, MZ, DAM and Zone FIghter Ghidorah is a serious threat by showa standards.

I would like to see Ghidorah drive off either Godzilla or Rodan in a one on one fight. He couldn't kill ONE mothra larvea even when Rodan and Godzilla where fighting like dunces.

Face it. This Ghidorah is just a giant punching bag throughout his career in the showa series. He did put up quite a show and managed to survive more than one kaiju. I'll give him that credit. No other kaiju can take punishment and soak up enough to simply retreat like he does, but that doesn't say anything about being a threat to any kaiju stronger than Rodan or Mothra (which includes any or all versions of Godzilla). His offensive is even poorer than Titanosaurus, who is really not that impressive as a whole package. I doubt he can even beat Gigan without trouble.

In MZ Godzilla and Rodan were devastated by the Gravity bolts and in GTTHM Rodan was avoiding a 1 on 1 Showdown with Ghidorah while Godzilla kept getting knocked down every time he took Ghidorah on one on one.

I hate to say it but Ghidorah probably could drive off 60's Godzilla or Rodan if they fought one on one.

Devastated is the wrong word here. I would say, vexed would be more appropriate.

Rodan was doing everything but avoiding Ghidorah. Just because he played smart and safe didn't mean he wasn't willing to engage in risky combat. How do you think that hardcore head on collision he pulled on Ghidorah felt like?

Oh and Godzilla kept getting knocked down all the time, because he was just that clumsy back than. This clumsy state only effected his offensive. It had no bearing on his durability or toughness.

All in all, I don't see how Ghidorah could beat either of these two, let alone the keep up with 74 incarnation on a one on one fight. Maybe he can pull it off with Rodan, but definitely not Godzilla or anything sharing the saurian's name.
