Gaira handled an ordinary octopus well, but will an armored one do better? It might have a better chance, but Gaira is still one fierce fighter. Tentacles alone may not subdue Gaira, but the shell will protect the cephalod from most harm. I'll lean towards Gaira here.

This would've been interesting to see in a future Gargantuas movie. Anyways, i'll go with Gaira here. He could handle Oodako fairly easily, so the Cephalopod shouldn't be that much tougher.

I am siding with Gaira as well. This fight will probably go the same way as the one with Oodako with the difference that Cephalopod has a shell.
