GXM Godzilla vs Charizard

Postby Kiryu2012 » Wed Jul 04, 2012 7:55 pm

After my Hulk vs Charizard match went to a bust, I decided to make this.

Charizard
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/ ... _Charizard

vs

GXM Godzilla
http://tohokingdom.com/kaiju/godzilla_mill2.htm

Arena: Where Godzilla fought Megaguirus.

Rules: Charizard has no Overheat.
Retreat enabled.

Verdict: Charizard could win this. Godzilla's regen would pose a problem, but Charizard's attacks could still badly injure him. There's also the fact that Charizard's Dragon Blast could deal great damage to Goji, but Goji's Atomic Ray could hurt if it hits, and there's the fact that Godzilla could readjust his aim if Charizard dodges. Charizard, though, will win.

... This is an interesting match
Alright, I'm giving this one to Godzilla
His regeneration is going to be just too much for Charizard, and I don't see Charizard doing to much to him.

...What exactly can Charizard do to Godzilla that would serve as long term damage in this fight?

Charizard is screwed.

EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure that Charizard Fantasy Matches aren't allowed, because he's technically a video game character.

This shouldn't even be considered. Charizard loses.

The only thing Charizard would have that could damage Godzilla is Seismic Toss and crush Godzilla's bones, and that's ASSUMING that Charizard could grab him and hold on to him, though at that range, Godzilla could fire off an atomic blast that would annihilate Charizard at close range.

Now, let's assume that Charizard is able to land a Fire Blast on Godzilla.... So what? a nuclear explosion woke Godzilla up and pissed him off. What would a giant blast of just fire do? Make him more mad.

Now, let's assume that Charizard does play is safe and just fires blast after blast of a combination between Fire Blast and Flamethrower.... He needs to be close enough to be accurate, and, guess what? Godzilla has a ranged blast attack, too. Now, let's assume that Charizard fakes Godzilla out and shoots a blast, Godzilla blasts back, dodges and fires another one... Guess what? This Godzilla has shown that he can jump, and jump VERY well.

So, Charizard has two options:

A. Risk grabbing him and slamming him into the ground from high up, which during that time Godzilla would heat up his spines and blast Charizard from here to God knows when.

-OR-

B. Fight Godzilla in a ranged battle, where Godzilla has equal ability to match Charizard's blast with something more powerful.

Lose-lose situation.

Godzilla wins.

This incarnation of Charizard is from the anime, just to let you know.

...Okay, which version?

In the Pokemon anime, Pokemon can only know four moves at a time. When Ash's Pikachu learned Iron Tail, it forgot Agility. When it learned Volt Tackle, it forgot Thunder. When it learned Electro Ball, it forgot Quick Attack. It can't use any of those moves now, because Pokemon can't know any more than four moves, even in the anime.

So what four moves does Charizard know?

I thought it was the VG versions that only knew four moves at a time. The Charizard here is Ash's Charizard, and I always assumed every move a pokemon in anime learned it keeped.

Nope. That is not the case. Just like in the video games, a pokemon can only know four moves at a time. If a move is forgotten in favor of learning a new move, that pokemon can no longer use that old move.

So I ask again, what four moves does this Charizard know?

If that's the case: Dragonbreath, Flamethrower, Dragon Blast, and Fire Spin.

There is no such thing as Dragon Blast. Do you mean Dragon Rage?

I believe there's a rule against one-sided matches.
Now it's dark...
