Hard to believe that they are going with a M rated Star Wars game when the series has been known to be for all ages.

There have always been mature aspects of the universe though. The novels in particular often had some very mature and dark themes in them.

I'm personally very excited for this. Have to see more before I really pass judgement, but I'm liking what I'm seeing.

I'd say that's pretty likely. I kind of doubt the 360 will be able to handle it (bad news for me), and it will end being a PS3/PC/Wii U release.

I think it would be stupid not to put the game on the 360. I was still hoping for a Knights of the Old Republic 3 but this game should be awesome nevertheless.

My point is the 360 probably can't handle it. Have you seen how good the footage in HD looks? The last thing I would want to do is play a downgraded version of this game.

I would never expect something KOTOR 3 to make it to the 360. It's an online MMO. Those don't translate well at all to consoles.

The difference between the MMO game that it's not KOTOR3 story wise from what I've been told. If this is on the PC only then that would suck since my PC can hardly run TF2 since my Windows XP is from 2002. If they downgraded the game then I guess it could work as long if the game is still fun to play.

The problem is 1313 was running on a HIGH end computer. We are not sure yet if they are gonna wait till next gen or not since the the consoles we have now are running on 6 year old tech.

Yeah, that's my concern. The likelihood of it being released on any of the the current gen consoles seems really slim, to none. PC and Wii U seem like the most probable platforms at this point.

Putting it on two disks wouldn't solve the problem anyway. The textures, shaders, lighting, etc all would still be there.

That still make no skreeonk sense. How does it using less power have anything to do with it being able to play 1313.

At first i thought the slim had more power thus being able to play 1313 but I correct myself with it uses less power so it has nothing to do with it being able to play 1313.

Edit: I watched the E3 preview on G4 today and I going with the assumption that the game is next-gen. They said the game was in early pre-production and not even an alpha build is complete.
