I am. I got today and tommorrow off of work so I'm set.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

Same here, although once this is all done then I'll be tuning in to G4 for the real thing.

Watching it right now with my friend Ryan, caught it right at the beginning fortunately.

Damn... everything is Kinect...

And did we REALLY need that usher song?

It started out cool with Splinter Cell and I liked the demo for the new Tomb Raider game. And the South park guys just coming in and trolling the Microsoft Conference was a pretty fun too.

I liked the look of splinter cell.

I thought Tomb Raider looked kinda dumb. Laura looks really bad.

And I am pumped for South Park.

Splinter Cell Blacklist looks like shit, a hollow shell of its former self. I can't believe they brought back the wallhack goggles. Looks like they completely ditched the "blend into darkness" stealth mechanic that was in all the other SC games too.

Black Ops II, on the other hand, looks amazing. Is it just me, or was that the F/A-38A Sentinel that Mason was piloting?

So I wasn't expecting anything but yesterday I found out about Injustice and all I can say is "wow. The makers of Mortal Kombat are gonna make their own twisted versions of famous comic heroes? Count me in."

THANK YOU!

Splinter Cell stopped being Splinter Cell after the first four games when they decided to turn it into an action game...when what made the series cool to begin with was that it wasn't another action game it was stealth. Nope we can't have a game that is slow but intense, people with short attention spans will get bored. War isn't always fighting, half of it is cloak and dagger, stealing information without letting anyone no you were there.

The first 3 games were amazing, the fourth was okay but after that I didn't like the diraction they were taking the series and abandon ship. Don't get me wrong I am totally for trying new things, hell one of my favorite series, Mortal Kombat, tries something new almost every game, but with Splinter Cell it now become such a different game series then when it started out that the latter games feel more like they belong to a different franchise all together.

Splinter Cell 1 was great.
Splinter Cell 2: Pandora Tomorrow was okay, albeit with hammy voicework and a silly plot.
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was amazing. The pinnacle of stealth gaming.
Splinter Cell Double Agent was decent, though I began to notice cover system levels starting to inch in.
Splinter Cell Conviction was...okay. It still had some sort of stealth, and many of the missions still took place in darkness.

This new game looks horrible. Like another cliched TPS. The only saving grace is the fact that Spies vs Mercs will return.

The sad part is that Splinter Cell games were selling just fine before Ubisoft decided to turn Splinter Cell into Gears of War.

I can't wait for the EA press conference. I want to hear the boos for battlefield premium. That whole thing is just a bunch of bullshit.

I wonder if MOH Warfighter will present something impressive, I also hope Sony's Conference is good or at least interesting.

So I just looked at some of the RE 6 trailers. Pretty cool that Leon has another reason for letting Ada get away other then just because "he wuvs her".

Why? What did you not like about the presentation? For the most part, a lot of people, or a huge chunk of people interested in the game pretty much loved it.

^gotta say I geeked out watching the halo 4 gameplay. See everything in action was awesome and the new enemies definitely are pretty cool. The crawler looks like a four legged bugger but all the other new enemies looked grand. Honestly can't wait!

I feel the same way. Moreso about the few bits of story we've been given so far. Not to mention the overuse of cinematic sequences in just one level.

I always love seeing Chris' posts on the subject of video games. They are always so much more critical and negative than anything else he posts.

But yes, way too much cinematics for that relatively short amount of gameplay.
