There comes a time in which a unique fighting/beat em up game presents itself to world, sometimes they are quickly well known and do well, and other times they are overlooked and do so-so. Anarchy Reigns is that unique game, and its becoming well known. Hopefully it'll do well.
Although its mostly a fighter/beat em up, it does have a Story Mode that revolves around two main characters, Jack Cayman and Leo Victorion

Now, like all or most games of this type, what are the most important aspects? Gameplay, Modes, and the Fighters themselves. And not necessarily in that order.
First, the Characters that have been announced thus far:
Jack Cayman
The hero of Platinum Games' first title, MadWorld, who wields Gator Tooth, a retractable double chainsaw inside his mechanical arm. Voiced by Steven Blum who reprised his role from Jack's first game.
Leonhardt "Leo" Victorion
The villain whose name is similar in MadWorld, he uses charged Positron Blades.
Sasha Ivanoff
An spy lady whose weapons are Snow Spikes, which can be used to freeze opponents and combine into a powerful ice blade. Voiced by Rose McGowan.
Zero
A cybernetic ninja who cuts through enemies with his twin katanas, Onimaru and Juzumaru.
Big Bull
Previously seen in MadWorld, a cybrid (cyborg, a mech with a human brain) with a large bull-like body who smashes opponents with his Jet Hammer.
Black Baron
The final boss in MadWorld, "a cocksure brawler at heart, who delivers his lines with a swagger with combat via the Super Sexy Fists of Fire." Voiced by Arif S. Kinchen
Mathilda
The Black Baron's assistant in MadWorld, who uses an Iron Maiden, a spiked barbarian's club with purple energy.
Nikolai Dmitri Bulygin
An intellectual that uses a series of Tesla coils to grant himself electrical powers.
Durga
An anthromorphic cyborg who uses a big cat-like style of martial arts, and the Revolver Cannon which is inside his robotic leg.
Garuda
A transformer-like jetplane mecha that has flight capabilities, spinning attacks, with its Tornado Drill weapons to skewer enemies.
Edgar Oinkie
A fat and heavy brawler who uses his fists and a mutagen he calls "The Juice", which temporarily changes him into a Godzilla-like reptilian beast, to deliver powerful blows in the blink of an eye.
Bayonetta
The titular witch from Bayonetta has been confirmed as a playable character.
RinRin
Leader of the Crimson Dragons and the boss in MadWorld who uses two fiery bladed fans, Yanlong.
FeiRin
RinRin's sister who uses an ice bladed trident, Zilong.
AiRin
RinRin's other sister who uses a lightning nunchucks, Huanglong.
Douglas Williamsburg
The man who uses twin weapons Romeo and Julio, he is seen in the multiplayer trailer.
Modes:
PlatinumGames have released another Anarchy Reigns trailer, this one showing off a glimpse of 5 of the game’s 11 multiplayer modes. Team Deathmatch and Team Battle are 4 vs. 4, Tag Deathmatch is 2 vs. 2, Tag Battle is 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2, and Survival is three characters.
What isn’t shown here is Anarchy Reigns’ 16-player Battle Royale mode. Other modes that we haven’t seen include 1-on-1 Cage Match mode and a mode called Death Ball, which is some kind of ball sports game.

Gameplay:
Its pretty straight forward, destruction, mayhem, and pure chaotic combat. You have your heavy attacks, medium attacks, and light attacks, plus unique grapples, minor power-ups, along with some over-killing finishers. Although what's surprising is that the developers want players to sometimes play dirty.
But before we get into that part, a fair warning must be put into place.

Not TOO much was known about Anarchy Reigns, but what we can glean (that was for you Adam) from the video below is that you don’t only have to stay alive by kicking everyone else on screens ass, but the levels as well. Tsunamis, carpet bombing, and huge effing saw blades and I’m sure many more. Check out the video below.

Players will be able to sneak up behind another opponent and hold them for another player to attack head-on. Not only that, but while holding another opponent or player you can use them as a human shield to guard yourself from Finishers and normal attacks as well.
