New Dragon Ball Z Game For PS3 And Xbox 360 Is The Final "Budokai" Title

Everyone, this is the last Budokai Tenkaichi DBZ Game, thus the meaning of the word "Final", and of course, a new V-Jump scan confirming it as well.

It is a direct sequel to Tenkaichi 3, and will feature the most characters in the entire series.

It will be released this Winter for the PS3 and 360

Well everyone, this is the series's final bout, and it looks like Spike has gone back to their roots and will (hopefully) make a good or great DBZ game this time around.

Mmm.....Well....I guess I'll give this upcoming game a shot. If Spike are returning back to their roots, a time in which they made awesome Tenkaichi games, then I'll stick around. A direct sequel....Tenkaichi 4....Interesting. But since its the "Final" Tenkaichi game then Spike better make it worth $60 bucks, and that means having no more QTES.

Although I wonder how they'll out do Tenkaichi 3's roster...

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi HD Collection Confirmed

Anyway....This news, Tenkaichi 4 (As some are starting to call it) came out of V-Jump(Japan's Latest Videogame Magazine) recently, and it has already confirmed SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta playable fighters.. If Spike is heading back into the territory that made their games good, then Its official, I might be interested in this installment.

Well we get three games from Spike then? I still rather have Dimps return since Budokai 3 to me is still best the DBZ game in a critical stand point of view. Even non DB fans that I know enjoy the game.

The Topic at hand, within my first post with the link (The one that was strangely dead for some weird reason), is "Tenkaichi 4". We're not talking about the HD Collection of the PS2 Games.

Yep, Namco Bandai wants to do a Final Kamehameha on things this year. Although it seems more like a gamble and back-up.
DBZ Kinect will probably do decent, but flop after a short while. To recover that, the Tenkachi HD Collection will most likely cover that lost since that specific PS2 series is still well received to this day and people are already looking forward to buying it.

Tenkaichi 4 is already building up hype, but that's mainly because its not a Ultimate Tenkaichi 2, and because SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta are already confirmed characters.(They weren't in Ultimate Tenkaichi and a large chunk of fans cannot wait to see an HD model of those two within a next-gen format). And that could add onto profits. But fans aren't getting too hyped, they want to wait and see first before deciding if they'll completely stick with the game or not.

No more QTEs...Please, no more. Go back to your roots, have Turles and Cooler playable and updated fighting gameplay. Then I'll become interested enough to preorder.

But first things first....Gotta wait for that V-Jump scan. Since the scans mostly make their way on the net over the weekend (No later than Sunday morning), then we'll have to sit back and hope that it'll be promising. I know SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta are confirmed playable and on the scan. So at least that's something to look forward to.

I take it that I'm the only one who wants Dimps back for another game? Spike has making DBZ games since 2005 and I'm personally was never a huge fan of the Sparking games. The second and third game where great to play but I always like the gameplay in the Budokai games much better. Not to mention that the Ragging Blast games where mediocre in my opinion and that Ultimate Blast (Ultimate Tenkachi) was too frustrating to play.

I will be buying both the collection and and Tenkaichi 4 I hope they start with combining the RB2 and Tenkaichi 3 rosters and I know alot of people didn't like it but I hope they bring Goku early mid end and GT back.

And then next year I hope they announce Budokai 4 or Infinite World 2.

Funny how people bitch about QTE but dont mind 19 button/stick movements to do a 37 hit combo breaker finish.

I'm starting to think that the HD collection is not real and that online stores got mixed up with this game instead. No point on having a HD collection if Spike is going to make a new Sparking game with a bigger section of characters. They could add several more characters but I'm starting to think that they are running out of characters.
