Save for the fact that the mechs in Fishy and Ghost Recon seem to be based off Bulldog and not the traditional walker mech.

BigDog is the non-military grade one. BullDog is the military-grade, potentially weaponized version.

BigDog scares the shit of me. I'm not really sure why.

As for the game, for the first time in possibly forever, I'm interested in a new Call of Duty game.

I wish this COD would include a local co-op campaign that's really the only reason I haven't gotten any game in the series yet as I can't play with my brother.

The lack of ranked dedicated servers has been sore spot for Call of Duty PC players for the last few iterations of the franchise, but it looks like that may be changing for Black Ops II.

Treyarch’s director of technology recently tweeted, "Confirmed: Ranked Dedicated Servers for #BlackOps2." Modern Warfare 3 had dedicated servers, but they were unranked. This should be good news for PC fans of Call of Duty.

Thanks to Hasaun Dyer for the news tip.

really happy about this, but still not sure if I am buying this day one. depends on the pre-order bonus steam gives if any at all. If no pre-order bonus or a shitty one I will wait for the price drop or the winter sale.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

Multiplayer game footage has been released.

The only thing troubling is that a some of the guns sound the same as BO (Magnum [Python], Sniper [L1180]). Otherwise, this might be a nice change of pace for COD

I love the new 10-Point Allocation system for Create-a-Class. Makes classes a hell of a lot more balanced.

Single player: I've only been through 3 missions but so far just normal COD stuff. First mission was cool though, reminded me of World at War.

Multiplayer: Well, just more typical COD style gameplay but a little more fast pace. The larger maps are a welcome change from MW3. That said, the weapons are the ugliest things to come across Call of Duty! I was hoping they were gonna let you choose the guns from the "past". (M16, Ak47, FAL, M60 ect..)
Nope, we only get to choose those ugly, boxy, rail covered guns. "was that a Assalt rifle, SMG or a Sniper rifle? heck if I know, they look the same!
Besides the gun gripe. the multiplayer is pretty fun.

Zombie: dont know yet. waiting on friend to play it.

Overall the game is still fun just the future guns are horribly ugly.
Sit back and relax.

I was suprised. I haven't been too fond of the last couple CODs, so going in I had low standards for it. But I've got to say it's pretty damn fun. Really like the new create a class system they have going.

Me too. And Zombies is kick ass. Multiplayer's a lot of fun and a huge improvement over Black Ops and MW3. The guns sound really cool. Overall, it's the best COD I've played.

Same here. I didn't really get into MW3 but I played BO2 Multiplayer for 3 hours yesterday. I got MW3 on launch day and over the course of a year only played it for 11 hours.

I played this for a few hours last night...really wasn't impressed with it. Everything was lackluster. I played Zombies by myself which may account for this, but I found it to be rather poor and not very fun. Then the multiplayer felt like more of the same. The way they were hyping up the Pick 10 system had me thinking it would be pretty cool...but it's not. It seems to be a bit better than MW3 but it's still not very good. Oh well, at least I didn't buy it.

Picked this up for PS3 yesterday, loving the multiplayer and Zombies is sooooooo much fun. I really don't care much about the campaign, but I'll sit down on one of my days off this week and give it a go.
