Lost Planet 3

It looks like Lost Planet 3 is set to be out by next year, the team behind Legendary: The Box and Call of Duty: Finest Hour is working on the 3rd game.

I only play the first one and it was okay. I hear the second game is hit or miss, some people hate it while others seem to enjoy it.

Saw the trailer in the Related Vids for that new RE6 trailer. Thought it was fake, but sure enough it was real. Can this year possibly get any better?

And yeah, the second game is understandably a hit-or-miss with two ridiculously difficult bosses (Akrid X and Red Eye), some ungodly overpowered sub-bosses (the Tencale-8 armed with homing lasers; seriously, skreeonk those guys), and a ridiculously easy final boss. Still, when I wasn't tempted to snap my controller in half when I was wasted by the Tencale-8 yet again, I was enjoying myself.

Feels like a damn buzzkill because so many people were hoping that Spark Unlimited was making Battlefront 3.

I hear Legendary: The Box was awful and a lot of people have a bad feeling on this game.

The first two were not great by any means, but they were fun. This game has one thing going for it already - the setting/universe is really awesome. I like the mix between mech brawler and survival horror. I'll be keeping an eye on this game.

From what I understand, that was only the third game they made. Not everyone can be Retro Studios and pump out an amazing game on their first try.

I liked the first game, though it was the first game I got on 360 so I have a bit of an attachment. Still, you can't beat a game that focuses on giant monsters, including an all too-familair Moth creature...I didn't play the second, and doubt I'll bother with this one.
Before it can be filmed, drawn, acted or programed, it must be written.
