GojiFan wrote:Being a classic means that the game has withstood the test of time and is still fun to play years upon years later. The "classics" like Super Mario Brothers, Super Metroid, etc were the pinnacle of game design back when they were created; some still are designed better than many games now. That is what older members like myself (I'm only 20 and you are making me feel old) remember them as. For us, we rank them high on our lists because some of these games were essentially the must-have-games from their era and 15 years later are still incredibly fun to play.

I used to drop quarters in it all day then I got it for my Sega Saturn. LOVE IT!

Okay, that's it. You win. *high five*
Majora's Mask is so godlike...if only we had gotten the original (N64DD) version which would have surely had a ton of more content (It's actually why there were so few dungeons). Also, the 64DD version was also originally going to be 7 days, and not 3. It really is a shame that the game had to be shrunk down, and moved to cartridge. Ocarina of Time suffered the same fate. Both games turned out to be classics anyway, but it's crazy to think they could have been so much more. They were just too ambitious for the time.
