I don't think they are not going to any DLC at all and that UMVC3 is likely going to be the last edition of the game. We can always wait in 2021 for MVC4 .

So yeah. I got UMvC3. It's fun, though I'm not sure what I think about some of the cosmetic changes they made.

Yes the game is fun... For a while but after that it's quite boring. No I don't have online and that's the problem with Capcom this is QUITE Bareboned and very boring. Now I haven't played it but I'm told MK9 has A LOT more content and feels satisfying and that makes me think it's a superior game. But want to know what's even sadder? MVC3 and MK vs DC have A LOT in common content wise and that's just said when a third 3rd game in a long series has as much content wait no, a little less then a new experiment game. Oh and UMVC3 was not worth being disc content and not DLC and it's just super sad people want DLC and all we got are two characters, a mode that I haven't played, and costumes. MK vs DC didn't have DLC because they had an excuse, UMVC3 with DLC people actually want? Not so much. I may get the game but only when I get enough gamefly coupons to bring the price down to 10 bucks or less. Yeeeeah, gonna be a while.

I think for me the most disappointing change from MvC3 to UMvC3 is:

MK9 has a lot more content but the game has became rather boring too since NRS said that they are done with DLC and plan to work on more non MK titles (They started on MK9 in late 2009 which I can see why they want to take a break). I might end up getting UMVC3 once I see it super cheap like $10 or $15 cheap.

At least they provided DLC we wanted, just granted not in the quantities we wanted but then again it is a reboot to the franchise yet managed to give us quite a roster.

Funny how they are re-releasing the first game when I just played it at the arcade not too while ago when I was out of town. The game is still tons to play and is still pretty hard too.
