Pikmin 3 (Pikmin series)

Well Pikmin 3 has been confirmed for Wii U. And I figured this series in general deserved a topic. I love the Pikmin series. It was an original concept and really fun to play. Definitely one of Nintendos best franchises.

I beat the first, but never managed to play the second due to my Gamecube's brief life.

Pikmin 2 kicks all kinds of ass, it's a must have for a gamecube owner, I patiently await Pikmin 3.

This series never really attracted me.. what is the point of the game?

Pikmin is the first game I ever played on my GCN I wanted that honor to go to Godzilla DAMM but it was checked out when I went to the video store. I really enjoyed Pikmin and I never really beat it.

I am going to Gamestop tomorrow to get Mortal Kombat, depending on the price, maybe I will pick it up.

The pikmin games always fascinated me. Even though I never had a GCN, when I saw it in stores, it always looked sorta fun to play.

I remember when the first Pikmin game came out in 2001 and I saw a preview for it in my Nintendo Power at the time. It looks very odd to me and I never played it until 2002. Good game and the sequel was even better.

Almost a year to the date!

I'm replaying through Pikmin 1 right now, and so far I'm averaging about 2 parts a day.

What do you wanna see in 3? I just want to know about the new different kinds of Pikmin. So far, there's the unconfirmed Flying kind (see the trailer) and the Rock Pikmin.

Easily one of my favorite franchises of all time.

Im going to replay 1 and 2 before it gets released aswell. (although i have the Gamecube versions)
The Rock Pikmin look interesting...i expected "Colored" Pikmin (Black,Green,Orange,etc.) but who knows
the finished game could have more Pikmin Types.

Maybe they are resistant of creatures and cant be eaten but they can be crushed for example.

I have 19/30 rocket parts and I just started playing 1 again today... Hooorah.

I wanna see Green Pikmin, dammit, but it is clear Nintendo doesn't want me to throw money at my TV screen...
