I dont think the flood is in Firefight. I can't find any articles or videos about it and the big suprise was ODST's were going to be in Firefight as allies.

Indeed it has I am 100% positive Flood is in Halo CEA. I mean come on. It's the anniversary in Halo we need Flood!

I have heard that Flood is confirmed in Firefight but only as Enemy option in the Firefight custom game menu. We haven't seen the video yet cause 343 wants to keep it a surprise they have kept alot of goodies for us to surprise us.

Not sure they said the beta will be out in early Oct for players to play. I think it'll be like ODST when we played the beta for Reach before it came out. They'll give us more details on the beta in Sept. Which is...like right now >>

Umm probably not since they will stick with the CE version the transformation stuff didn't get very detailed until like Halo 3. We won't see Halo 3 Flood in CE like the Stalker or Tank forms. I'm guessing though the Flood will be very detailed like they did in Halo 3 since they looked scary in there. We're not sure but we'll find out when we get the game. As for the beta we may see what they did the same for ODST for Reach Beta when that came out. We may get to get into some maps already shown and one Firefight possibly. Just keep your eyes peeled on Waypoint on your 360 they'll give us more details

It's a Precursor it seems they're out for revenge against the Forerunners hence all the stuff being pulled inside that big planetoid. This.Plus a few looked alike with a few changes.The General armor was the coolest one Reach had,but i was surprised they didnt keep the armors from Halo 3 in Reach.

That symbol means 'Didact' as any Halo fan know Didact is the creator of the Halo rings and the one who fired the rings during the Flood War. This means that Didact is gonna be in the game and he's gonna be pissed off that one of the rings, Alpha Halo was destroyed by Master Chief whom is a Reclaimer. The main villain in the Halo 4 game is gonna be the Precursor who is seeking revenge against the Forerunners. The Precursor is the creator of the Flood. The shield world where Master Chief is going is possibly where both Didact and Precursor or one of them, is residing. In Halo Legends Didact was seen going to sleep kinda like suspended animation when Chief was in the cryo tube. As for the Precursor he was locked up in prison. So this is how Halo 4 will have villains and possibly allies:

Enemy: Flood & Precursor, Covenant(??)

Ally: Covenant(??), possibly Didact
