The intro has been released: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCBAkUujFY8

I love it. The best intro that we had in a DBZ game in a while if you ask me. It been stated that Gogeta is the only SSj4 in the game.

Aww really? Well that blows, don't get me wrong like SSJ4 Gogeta but that's like having a Super Saiyan 2 goku but no normal or first form.

They mention something on how there was not enough memory space to add more characters. Since this is Spike's last DBZ game then maybe we can get a good amount of DLC.

I seriously doubt that's true.

13 minute Story Mode Vid, pretty damn awesome.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDh5Xvvn1RE

Also, there's news that the roster might be 41 characters
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/630324-d ... i/60515936

44 if you include the 3 CAC slots.

I don't mind if the total number is 44 characters.

-Epic Main Story Mode
-Giant Boss Battles
-Character Creations
-Hero Mode
-Newly drawn anime scenes.
-Good Gameplay

I expected absolutely nothing during the progress of this game's development. But overall, I'm loving it now and greatly look forward to it. Only 22 days left.

I see a lot of people bitching about the small roster when Budokai 3 had the same amount of characters and it was great. Ever since Spike took over the series, it seems like everyone wants a 100+ characters in every new game and don't want any in depth fighting. Fighting games with a huge section of fighting are always end up being broken or unbalanced, like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for example. I don't know why people think that the more characters, the better :? ?

Let me created charcter go super saiyan 1 to 3 since gogeta is the only ssj4 and I'm cool. Spike might even do DLC since this is their last game.

Because they don't want to be ripped off by buying the same thing just with better graphics and stuff. :D

That's why I said skreeonk you to every DBZ game after tenkaichi 3, why do I need to waste the money when I already have the game?

The animated cut scenes look amazing. Too bad there is no GT in the story mode, I would like to see some things in GT to be redone with new animation. So far Cooler, Metal Cooler and Slug have yet to show up when they always been rather popular characters.

So?

This isnt Budokai 3. This the Tenkaichi series, and one of its selling points was LOTS of characters.

Ever since Spike took over the series, it seems like everyone wants a 100+ characters in every new game and don't want any in depth fighting.

Oh, and I suppose kick kick, punch kick punch, circle is a deeper fighting system?

Wow, one game. Great argument.

Yay for broad generalizations.

I don't know why people think that the more characters, the better :? ?

Thats kinda the point of releasing similar games year after year. More updates, more characters, etc.

I take it that you don't play that many fighting games? I rather have a game is solid, polish and have Spike focus on the game instead adding so many characters and giving us a game that is not all flash and no substance. The recent DBZ games have been criticized for not having very good fighting combat mechanics.

I found nothing wrong with Tenkaichi 3. I'd rather have a larger roster rather then it being more "balanced and refined" but basically the same game you own on a previous gen system.

I dont play boring fighting games if thats what you mean.

I rather have a game is solid, polish and have Spike focus on the game instead adding so many characters and giving us a game that is not all flash and no substance.

Good thing I dont play B3 then.

The recent DBZ games have been criticized for not having very good fighting combat mechanics.

LOL! Since when?

Its not that the mechanics arent good. Its that people are too stupid to learn them properly.

Just because you can spam an attack doesnt mean the system is instantly "broken" or "shallow."

Especially when an experienced player can easily overcome spamming attacks. This is why I prefer BT3 over any other DBZ game.

It is true that fighting games with big rosters are unbalanced( MVC2 ), but balance is not the goal for Dragon Ball when you have Krillin and Syn Shenron fighting.

Overall, though I am disappointed that Turles and Cooler aren't playable at all, I'm still buying this game. Sure the roster is a smaller than expected, but I just want a DBZ game that I personally can enjoy. I find the gameplay enjoyable, and I completely love the game and what it brings and bares. So is this game still first day for me? Yep.

I saw the official list today on Daizenshuu EX and I'm still picking up the game. It looks like this game can be a DBZ game that is enjoyable for both fans and maybe the non fans. Not to mention, bigger character section does not make the game better. Super DBZ had a small section of characters and it was still a lot of fun. I think the roster is small is because they want to focus on having good gameplay then a game with all fan service. I think Spike wants a game to do well in sales and receives good reviews unlike the past few games which sold poorly.

You're like a parrot, I swear.

No Turles or Dabura is a big no-no for me, seeing as both were heavily promoted as playable characters in the last game.

I dunno. I may just get Raging Blast 2 instead. I skipped it for this game, but now, its looking more and more appealing.
