Being the "cold and calculative" Spacegodzilla that I am, I bought this game in order to regain some humanity. *wink**wink*
I figured Only one who is soulless could beat a game with no soul itself. How very skreeonk wrong I was.

This game is skreeonk sentient, I swear to God. Its evil and ALL the time it is laughing out how big a piece of shit you are. skreeonk.
It isn't conderacting if i'm pissed.

Wth?! I actually said this?

Funny eh, turns out it's actually pretty unique and has been getting some pretty good reviews. That's why you should never judge a book by its cover.

This game makes you want to kill yourself. Seriosuly, I;m not exaggerating. This game is like crystal meth, its so unhealthy for you, but you're addicvted. This game is dangerous. 100% Serious. Anyone who intends to take this game seriously and try to beat it, I'm warning you that it break your mind. I'm strongly considering returning it tomorrow.

O.o Damn, your being broken down already Svitska? I knew that this game was gonna be tough, that it wasn't gonna hold your hand, much like Demon Souls. But come on, a game can't be THAT nightmarish.

Its kept me up for 16+ hours now...I'm at this place, its called the undead burg....you can't buy potions. At every bonfire(checkpoint) you fill up a flask with a maximum of 5 drinks, and that's it. Every time you die, you get sent back to one of these fires. This fire....I've had to deal with 6 boss class enemies between it and my next bonfire, which I haven;t found yet. They expect you to fight all the enemies that spawn(running causes them to chase you), and FIVE bosses on only five potions until you hit the next skreeonk checkpoint. These checkpoints are the only way of getting a foothold in progress. You die...and play through the same places fighting the same guys....over...and over...and over...and over...and you keep fighting...and you keep going...and you start over a gain...you lose all your experience...you can;t level up because when you die you lose all unspent experience...you can;t get stronger unless you grind...which causes more monotonous repetition...all of this taking place in an obscenely dangerous place high up surrounded by increasingly depressing imagery....and its skreeonk maddening DAMMIt. MADDENING. But you won;t stop. Oh no you can;t. The game taunts you, DARES you to try to continue. CONSTANTLY showing you glimpses of cooloer places that soon you become sick of themselves...its insanity...pure insanity...you have to be a skreeonk psychopath to beat this game. A PSYCHOPATH. This game wa smade for the insane. I;m not exaggerating at all, and I just CANNOT take it anymore...or any video game right now for that matter...its just stressful..sickening....Omg, I;m crying...

I find it odd that the sequel to Demon Souls is on both systems when the first game is not? Maybe that they will put Demon Souls on the 360 soon since I never got the chance to play it. Also that I want to know what is going on in the story when playing Dark Souls.

I don't think Demon's Souls will be coming out to the 360 anytime soon. The reason Dark Souls came onto the 360 was partially due to the fact that they decided to garner more publicity for this game, as well as create a larger consumer base, which has been working out pretty well. Advertisement for Dark Souls has been pretty big, there have been at least two commercials and even USA Today did an article on it. That's quite different from Demon's Souls which had almost no advertising whatsoever.

As for the story, you don't need worry about it. Dark Souls is not a sequel, it's simply a spiritual successor. They don't even take place in the same world. Even if they did, there wouldn't be much to tell, Demon's Souls didn't have much of a story at all, it just provided some lore and a world where you can play. You're a dead person who needs to fight demons and help the Maiden in Black lull the Old One back to sleep. That's it.

It's just that I normally don't. Especially when it comes to RPGs.

So I finally got a chance to play this game over the winter break, and damn do I love this game. This seriously has to be one of the best games I've played in years.
