Star Wars Battlefront 3 speculation thread

I was a big fan of both Battlefront games it really sucks Battlefront 3 is going to be the next Duke Nukem Forever.

BattleFront 3 isn't even in development now so it is worse off than DNF, except for that small time between when FreeRealms shut down and Gearbox picked up the rights.

Hopefully someone will pick up the rights to make Battlefront 3. I am considering getting the PC verison of one of Call of Duty or Battlefield 3 to play one of the Star Wars mods for it. Might be the closest I can get to Battlefront 3 sadly.

The game wasn't "canceled." The company that was making it went bankrupt and closed down. Them closing down means all the work they had done went down with it.

Honestly I don't know how I feel about this. Battlefield 3 and NFS MW are the only games I actually like from EA. I could see EA making a FPS Battlefront 3 with a similar game engine to Battlefield 3 which would be nice but that's just me speculating.
