So I woke up this morning and my inner child shortly awakened after once I noticed a new article on IGN. Pokémon X & Pokémon Y have been announced for the 3DS. Two biggest shockers, the starters don't look too bad & the game is in full 3D. No little animations but full 3D animations. It almost makes me consider buying a 3DS....almost... Oh yeah and it comes out this October so let me just start this off.

Wanting to get a 3DS XL since my old DS seems on the way out(heartgold freezes a lot). Waiting to see if there is some kind of pokemon bundle or if there is a massive sale.

I never understood the idea of the XL's...

It's a portable system... it should market on how small and PORTABLE it is...

Why create the exact same thing where the ONLY difference is it's 2x bigger? and sell it for more??

No, I realize phones are working their way to becoming tablets now... but you catch my drift...

The draw is the bigger screen and more efficient battery.

And possibly expanded wireless features.

I got a Vita back at the end of October(got the Assassin's Creed:Liberation bundle) and after playing the vita for a solid 2 months, I like the bigger screen A LOT more.
