Graphics fanboys are even worse. As far as I'm concern people who want good graphics and shitty gameplay over good gameplay and decent graphics are not real gamers, casual or hardcore. I buy my games so I can play them, not watch them.

Oh my god. I just went back to watch the video again, all the way through this time, I am so disgusted with how many likes that video got. I would seriously LOL if Nintendo out did themselfs and made something more powerful then whatever Sony and Microsoft's next big thing is just to make this guy feel like an ass for bashing something that hasn't had any confirmed details yet.

Serious it isn't even out yet, we don't even know anything beyond rumors, how about waiting till it's actually shown before bashing it.

Wii can have great looking graphics, look at Super Mario Galaxy 1-2 for example. They look very close looking to a PS3 and 360 game.

I'd actually be pretty f'n excited if that'd mean we could get some kickass games like 360 and PS3 does. But Nintendo stopped doing extremely cool games after N64. Instead we'll just get SSB4, a new Zelda, a new Metroid, and a ton of Mario games aimed at kids. And then... shit.

While most of the Wii games are kiddy movies, movie tie in games, and ports of older games. The Wii does have a good section of games such as:

- Donkey Kong Country Returns
- Kirby's Epic Yarn
- Mad World

- No More Heroes 1-2
- Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
- Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
- Sonic Colors

- Super Smash Bros Brawl
- Super Mario Galaxy 1-2
- Wario Land: The Shake Dimension
- Zack & Wiki

I do admit that I should keep my Wii longer since I never got the chance to fully play SMG2, Other M, and No More Heroes 1-2 before I sold it for a PS3. A Wii HD does sound awesome, and could have more hardcore gamers buy it.

That guy in the video did have a point if they are indeed using the rumored GPU. Basically he's saying Nintendo is coping out by just catching up to the 360/PS3 rather than do a better GPU that's better than current computers. Many people complained about the Wii only be slightly above last gen (GCN, PS2 and Xbox) and it's pretty much the same thing Nintendo is doing now they're playing catch up to the 360 and PS3. They're pretty much playing Sony and MS this gen by being the first out the door.

Don't get me wrong I'm excited for an HD Wii something that should have happened from the get go but I see the point this guy is trying to make. Personally I think Nintendo should just make this an incremental upgrade by releasing an HD version of the existing Wii and for those of us that have one already do a system/firmware update to make all existing Wii's HD capable because when Sony's and MS's next systems come out they're going to be well ahead of the Wii 2 unless Nintendo does indeed have a better GPU and tech than what's rumored. So in other words that guy probably should have waited to do his video until official specs have been released.

Well Mario Galaxy 1-2, and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword have much better graphics then the past gen systems did you ask me.

^ I think you forgot to include the remake of Goldeneye. It was a pretty good shooter for the Wii. Same goes to MW1

Skyward Sword look much better then any original Xbox game if you ask me. Nintendo are people tend to care more about Gameplay then graphics since Mario Galaxy 2 got a perfect 10 on many game sites, and calling it the best sequel since Super Mario 64.

HS I agree with you hence why I said for the most part. Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 both have impressive visuals that are way better than Xbox titles, Skyward Sword has an interesting graphics engine because it's a hybrid of TP and Windwaker.

Another thing to remember about GPUs is they just don't make games look prettier they also make it so you can add more detail to the enviroments and more models on screen at a time (CPU and RAM also effect this but still GPU does play some part into this) and that helps make the gaming expeirence more immersive which is the point of gaming.

He handled himself much better in that video. Still, I think we should wait and see before getting hyped up for "awesomeness" or getting hissy piss for "crap" since nothing is really confirmed cept small details.
