I blame Platinum... Ever since it came out, priority moves began to run rampant all over the place. Bulelt Punch Scizor, anyone?Mothra Freak wrote:I blame BP.Godzilla 2000 wrote:I blame Bush.Legionmaster wrote: Don't blame me. Blame the meta.
All we need now is a dragon equivalent to Extreme Speed, and Stealth Ice, and the Meta-Game will crack in half...

Bellyzard is useless unless you baton pass Belly drum onto him cause of Stealth Rock.
Freakin Stealth Rock should be nerfed.

I just think it's ridiculous that Stealth Rock can chip away half of Charizard's HP because it does Super Effective damage.Godzilla 2000 wrote:You would think people would use spinners more often, lol.vaporchu wrote:Bellyzard is useless unless you baton pass Belly drum onto him cause of Stealth Rock.

So I'm trying out the Safari Zone and such in HG, and I wonder... Is it possible to time travel (via the DS' internal clock) to make Pokemon appear after placing the blocks in the correct areas?

If you're in Cerulean, you should've been to the Safari Zone a looooong time ago.

Just changing the time from night to day/day to night is possible. I don't think you can actually skip a months worth of time using the clock and have it register in game, though.

I skipped eight days ahead of the current day to make absolute sure I would encounter Lapras; which I did. That's why I'm curious if it would work.vaporchu wrote:Just changing the time from night to day/day to night is possible. Re: Pokemon Game Discussion 2.0
Knowing our luck, we'll probably get trolled with horrible abilities, like Flame Body for Charmander, and Damp for Squirtle... That's what happened to the event Raikou... It should have gotten Timid nature...

Re: Pokemon Game Discussion 2.0
Considering they'll be found in the Dream World, they'll probably have variable stats. But I hope the abilities are at least somewhat useful. I mean, Vaporeon is getting Hydration and Glaceon Ice Body, so...
@THE GODZILLA: Well, then I'm not sure then. I guess try it to find out?

I hope pokemon black and white are way different than the rest of the games. Cause it seems that I can't bother to face Red and train my team.

Yes, Flygon. I would have used Garchomp in a heartbeat, if not for my DS being unable to connect with my router.

Damn Battle Tower and its cheating. But not so much cheating as having just the right Pokemon show up in just the right situation to destroy your team. I'm talking about you, Flygon. In match 39. What a douche.

Re: Pokemon Game Discussion 2.0
Oh dear gosh... The battle Frontier alone is full of cheating ********. One-hit KO moves hitting you three times in a row, the opponent having mons that just perfectly counter yours... It's like the game punishes you for doing good... the higher your streak, the harder the CPU tries to hault you... I remember getting to match 49, when I found myself facing off against a Walrein, Garchomp, and Latias... Naturally, I lost big time... Dang Garchomp managed to get up a Sword Dance befor eripping my entire team to shreads...

I'm curious about this, simply because I just insulted the bug-dragon, and you have Garchomp. What exactly happened? =PLegionmaster wrote:Damn Battle Tower and its cheating. Re: Pokemon Game Discussion 2.0
Gengar nuked his first mon, then took down Charizard with Destiny Bond. He sent out Flygon, I sent out Garchomp. Flygon outsped and OHKOd with Draco Meteor. Fixed its SpAtk drop with White Herb. I sent in Scizor and got OHKOd by Flamethrower. It was supremely gay.
