alright, I have held off for a while, but I am financially able to buy this tomorrow, and I am selling some games to cushion myself a little more as well (I don't normally spend that much on games. lol)

Titano, can you post a pic of your gigan? I am curious to see what it looks like.

Well this game got boring quick.

Here's my idea for the next game

1. Bring back Chronicles of the Soul mode from SC II but make it for Created souls

2. Bring back every character from SE-SC V(this means both of the Pat's and Pyhiras) and maybe introduce some new characters

3. make a story mode and history mode. History mode takes you through the Soul edge-Soul Calibur V stories and Story mode would be the current story.

4. Create a new soul sword: now that Soul Calibur is basically as big a threat as soul edge create a true soul good sword and let fans vote on the color and name and give it to a new character and let fans vote on his fighting style.

5. improve the create a character system.

6. Keep a fighting style with just fists like the devil jin style but more basic.

7. Keep the guest characters.

I have yet to play SCV. Going from what I've been told, I will wait when it's cheaper.

Save your money, play Soul Calibur 2 instead or any other fighter like Skullgirls.

The second game to me will always be the best in the series since the game has a lot of reply value and I remember I still play it even after the third game came out. I always found the first game to be somewhat overrated, it's great but hardly worth the perfect 10 on Gamespot.

Soul Caliber V had the potential to be great. While its all well & good that the create a character mode has been expanded but the story really suffers great and it lacks a ton of replay value. The only other SC games I ever bought were Soul Caliber III & IV haven't played the first two games.

SC2
SC4
SC1
SC3

That's how I would rank the games in the series. I haven't play the spin off on the Wii that came out a few years ago but I was told that it was pretty bad.

^Last time I got a chance to play was a month ago. My friend's Gamecube still works so we put in SC2 and I kicked his ass with Necrid (still wish they'd bring him back)

And I'm anxious to see this SC Gigan too.
