Guest fighters are characters that are popular and will sell to casual gamers. Star Wars characters work since SW is a very popular series and it's very popular in Japan as well. Link and Spawn also appeal to the causal gamers since they are popular too. I don't think we will see the guest fighter until the Tokyo Game Show or that we could not get one like we did with SC3.

If they are going to do a console-exclusive character for both system then it can be a two of the same characters from the same series then later be DLC or someone like Nathan Drake for the PS3 version and The Hero of Brightwall for the 360 version. No other good exclusive characters to pick for the 360 and PS3 since most of them are multi platform.

Or Green Lantern for the 360 and Batman for the PS3 version . Kain, Cloud and Dante are my personal guest fighters that I wanted to see in the series for a long time.
