I'm just psyched it has full crossplay between Xbox One, PS4, and PC...

Anyone here playing the beta? I'm personally having a goddamn ball with it.

I downloaded the beta today and it's been pretty fun, especially Hardpoint. NVG mode is also way cool with the laser sight mechanic. Favorite weapon so far is the M4A1, but I haven't unlocked too many weapons yet.

I'm usually #TeamAmerica when it comes to faction preference, but the Allegiance faaction just looks so badass (namely Kruger, Zane, and the default guys). I'm praying they stick to this kind of aesthetic in the future.

With the recent news of Activison’s once again scummy tactics (Sony is honestly to blame too), by sectioning off an entire game mode to one system player base for an entire year, my mindset of really considering getting MW has now changed to not getting it at all.

It’s a bloody shame, too, because this genuinely was the first COD in years that I was very much interested in, and I know how much heart and soul went into it. But Activision will be Activision.

Do we have a full list of weapons that will be in the MP yet?

They also said loot boxes will be in the game.

Why am I not surprised Activision is being scummy? I boycotted BO4 because of their bullshit with that game (they literally snuck loot boxes in post-launch on top of all these other awful microtransactions) and it looks like I'm right to do the same thing here.

Based on all early copies being released the full list were the weapons displayed in the beta (some of them weren't unlockable).

I'm a little disappointed we don't have the UMP45 and HK416, but hopefully gunsmith gets us some sick weapon conversions. As it stands not factoring gunsmith there are 33 base weapons in the game. MW2 had 37 and MW3 had 43.

Outside of Activision being scummy Activision, is Ghost Riley confirmed?

Based on stuff that has directly come from Infinity Ward themselves, the only returning characters confirmed are Price, Griggs, & Kamarov. However, based on my own personal opinion I think it's highly, HIGHLY likely Ghost is going to be in the campaign. There is absolutely no way they would have a complete reboot of the series and NOT put the most popular character in the series in it.

The campaign is skreeonking fantastic. Getting some mad Neptune Spear vibes from the SAS night raids in particular.

Yup, and it's not exclusive to multiplayer, either, you can't even play the campaign without the update. So you have to be online and download a giant 56 GB update to play the OFFLINE single-player.

skreeonk off, Activision (like I NEEDED any more reason to loathe them).

This campaign is up there with COD 4 and the first Black Ops for the best campaign in the COD series. This was a great return to form for the series.

Holy hell the 725 Shotgun is totally worth the grind. It has the MW2 SPAS-12's range and stopping power with the drawback of only 2 shots and a lengthy reload. Honestly, it's good enough to where you can just run it stock with no attachments. Also the P90 and Kilo 141 are pretty good too.

LOL, you've got time limit FREE FOR ALL matches (!) in this piece of poop game:

So glad I didn't validate Activision's scummy business practices by buying this boring ass game, looks like I dodged a bullet by voting with my wallet. You know a game's bad when you have FREE FOR ALL matches going to the time limit, I swear I've never seen that before. Time limit games are apparently commonplace from all the community and Reddit posts I've read.

Mark my words: loot boxes WILL be back after everyone's already bought and reviewed the game just like they did with BO4 and just like they put MTXs in CTR:NR after saying they wouldn't.

That's cool, I'm sure we'll be fine without you in the lobbies. Meanwhile I'll go back to enjoying the skreeonk out of cyber attack and search and destroy.

FFA having a time limit seems like a really weird thing to get that upset over. Aside from the time limit and the M4 being stupidly OP, the game is really fun. Best CoD since MW2 imo.

The M4 and 725 are in need of some major nerfs. I literally can't play a game without both of those weapons being the weapon of choice for like 3/4 of both teams and I'm forced to run a M4 + 725 with Overkill setup even though I want to use the P90.
