So there's a new character coming: https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/blog/20594520

Not sure when she releases, but she's a tank with some cool and potentially horrifying abilities. And she has what appears to be a Best Pony-inspired skin(https://www.equestriadaily.com/2017/03/new-overwatch-hero-orisa-has-skin.html), so Overwatch has finally received its mandatory injection of Friendship.

I'm pretty sure it's just a simple pink skin...

Hey, it's called 'Twilight' and it's the same color scheme as Twilight Sparkle. It could be a coincidence, but we all know it probably isn't.

Or it might be that twilight is a time of day commonly associated with colors like pink and purple?

Do we know that they're bringing it back? I mean, I hope so; I missed out on the last one.

Not really, the skins didn't impress me last time around.

More hyped for Doomfist in the coming weeks.

Would it be interesting if they brought in characters from other franchises as guests? It has always been a trend in fighting games for the past decade and a half since Sould Calibur II, so why not a FPS?

Hell no. Let Overwatch build its own characters instead of taking from established franchises.

This isn't a game that you can just bringing in other characters.

How do you determine when does it work and when doesn't it?

Because this is a team based game with each character made for a specific role. Fighting games work with out of franchise characters but not a fps. What character did you want them to bring in?

I would bring in Sam Fisher, Solid Snake, Sweet Tooth or Master Chief.

Ah yes, let's bring in hardcore and violent characters like skreeonking Sweet Tooth into a light-hearted T-rated game like Overwatch. Brilliant idea.

I think I'm gonna take a break from this game. It has the potential to be a great game, but it's held back by some of the worst matchmaking I have ever seen, poor balancing (has been getting better though), and bad servers/hit reg. Also doesn't help how toxic the community can be. I then tried comp and ran into the consistent 5 dps instalockers and dropped about 500sr. Hopefully it will be fun again when I come back.

What nationalities do you guys think should be represented for future characters?

I think that's probably the absolute last thing on my mind concerning this once fun game.

Just make the new characters interesting. Doomfist and Moria are dull as dirt character wise

Bridgette is pretty cool, though. I don't actually play as her often, but still.
