Sulejmani in his Varcolac in Ace Combat: Joint Assault. The bastard has a rearward defense pod that blocks your missile shots from behind, so you have to take him down with machinegun fire. Not to mention he has a backup of three other fighters, also in Varcolacs (THE most maneuverabel fighter in any of the AC games, ever!), although they lack the defense pod. Then, once you deal enough damage to Sulejmani to destroy the defense pod, you still can't hit him with missiles because he can roll and dodge and pull turns that no fighter you possess can match. So you have to whittle him down with machinegun fire, all the while he's flying loops around you, and a single missile will knock you out on the harder difficulties. Needless to say, I gave the bastard the finger when I finally managed to take him down. Still, it was a rough fight. Makes the joust against Pixy in Zero look like a cakewalk.

Metroid: Other M on Hard Mode is pretty difficult thusfar. I'm to the point now where basically, in any battle, I can't get hit. I die a lot.

Evilest boss? Probably Sephiroth or Kurt Zisa from Kingdom Hearts. Ugh.

Rahu III from Custom Robo. As badass as he is when you unlock him as a robo to use, he's a f*cking pain in the ass in the final battle cause he can tank almost anything you throw at him and his main weapon rapes you to the 3rd degree.

Cerubellon's final form in War of the Monsters with his uber 8 hit melee attack that can pretty much destroy you.

Ultrasaurus from Zoids Battle Legends. Until I got my Gojulas Giga this thingkicked my ass sooo many times. Even today with my pimped-out Gojulas Giga I have some trouble.

Jazz and Starscream from Transformers (DS). Jazz doesn't stand still for one f*cking munute and he's literally jumping all around the level shooting these blue orbs that tear chunks out of your health. Then there's the Allspark Enhanced Starscream you fight in the final showdown as Megatron, who's not as much of a pain in the ass as Jazz but still.

As for hard boss fights, I hate the rematch Lance battle in HG/SS. Course, it doesn't help that the areas to level my Pokemon after 50 are garbage...

Banjo-Tooie had some great bosses. Not really hard, but sooo much fun. I remember when I beat that game I felt for the first time like I had accomplished something in life.

I can't believe none of the bosses from MK1-3 where not mention in this thread? Shao Khan in MK2 was a total bitch to beat and was just as hard in MK3/UMK3. Old Shang Tsung, Goro, Kintaro, and Motaro where also hard as hell too.

From TMNT: Tournament Fighters for Genesis. That game was cheap on its own. Triceraton was a pain in the ass.

I remember playing MK1 on the Genesis back in the late 90's, and I remember Goro was so hard to beat. I think fighting him now as a Adult will make things easier. Shao Khan in UMK3 is still hard as hell.
