Personally, my hardest boss to date is... RAAM on Gears of War. Not on casual or hardcore. I'd get blown to bits just trying to shoot him.

I had a lot of trouble in that match up, If I use Ken, Seth's easy as long as he's not on Hard, I can still beat him, but barely.

Eh, Seth is difficult for me to beat when I play as Gouken. He's cake against my Ken and Gouki.

One boss I forgot to mention is Mr. Big from the original NARC. He's not as tough as the Scorpion King, but holy crap is this guy a f**king meat bag and can stack up damage lightning fast.

I was never able to beat him, and that video will back up my case. I'd love to see a xenomorph queen, no, scratch that, the Predalien Queen from AVP: Extinction AND Mother Brain from Super Metroid try to fight this guy.

Most Evil Boss huh? Hmm... Dr. Wily's second form in the original Megaman game for the nes as he was SOO EVIL that even though he was defeated, a stray bullet hit me and caused me to go into the room before you face wily and caused me to be stuck and rest the game. THAT THEIR IS PURE EVIL!!!!

And there's always Seth from SFIV, oh how I loathed him. Him and his evil EVIL cheapness, thank God for the Hindu that can stretch.

I have managed to kill Tabuu on Insane.... but only once... I used Bowser, DK, Ike, Luigi (Whom actually laid the finishing blow..)Pikachu, and Zero Suit Samus... Lets jsut say that fight took 20 tries to do... mainly becuase I was aiming to trophiphy him...

Toughest boss other than in MH? Either Lance (HG/SS) or the Heretic Leader (Halo 2)... The former's Dragonites are jsut overkill, and unless you have a bulky ice type (Lapras, for me) that can hit hard with Ice Beam, your pretty much going to be cursing and damning that Outrage Dragonite of his.... That thing can sweep entire teams...

The Heretic Leader, on the other hand, is pure evil on Legendary... since he's equipped with a jetpack, near-instant-death dual Plasma Rifles, and holographic doppelgangers, that fight drove me batshit bonkers for hours...

Lance actually isn't too hard. Even when I removed my Feraligatr from my team temporarily to train a Larvitar, the most difficulty from Lance came from the hax he occasionally uses.

Now Red, let's just say he use's an Action Replay and be done with it. Damn, the last time I battled him Body Slam freakin Paralzyed 3 times in a row and Sludge Bomb poisoned the first hit it made after I alleviated a different status effect. And then I've been frozen several times because of 100% accuracy Blizzard. I delightfully ripped him a new one once I decided I needed to bring out my Feraligatr though. For the record, I never have lost to him(at least not in HG), but his Pokemon still have uber hax.

The Archdemon from Dragon Age: Origins.

There is a super-cheap way to beat it, but otherwise, it's an impossible battle. Fighting it close up is suicide cuz it'll just swipe and bite you in the front, slam you with its legs or tail in the back, or release a quick gust of wind to knock you (and everyone else) off your feet. Fighting from a distance isnt good either, as it'll just blast you with fireballs, or worse, its "pillar of fire" attack, which has a huge radius.

And, once you manage to get its health to around 50%, it flys out of range and summons its Darkspawn horde to fight you while it pelts you with fireballs. The individual minions take one hit, usually, but there so many of them you'll become overwhelmed and get killed. =/

Not from my experience, but my brother's, that thing inside Jabu Jabu. It ravaged my brother like 70-kabillion times.

The final boss in Dead to Rights (can't remember his name sorry). First he send a whole mini-army of SWAT members after you as well as a chopper, then he comes at you with a riot shield and a tazer/shotgun thing in a hotel lobby, then after the fight leads to a boiler room he sticks his gloves in a furnace so his punches burn you, then when you throw him in to the furnace you have to fight him again while he is on FIRE(!) and then throw him into the furnace again where he dies and all this after he had framed you for a crime you didn't do and even blackmail/bribe several crooks and even the MAYOR OF THE F***ING DAMNED CITY(!) to try and kill you.


Keep in mind that said villain is only human (granted with training as a cop) so to throw everything at you including the kitchen sink, to go through so much trouble to try and kill you even going so far as to try and drag you into a burning inferno (no joke) with him shows a frightening amount of determination which is outmatched only by the main character himself.

I haven't played the other Dead to Rights games but the first one is worth the hard difficulty just for the final showdown with the big bad alone.

There's a rhythm to the second half. First half you just need to hide in the corner.

Sulejmani in his Varcolac in Ace Combat: Joint Assault. The bastard has a rearward defense pod that blocks your missile shots from behind, so you have to take him down with machinegun fire. Not to mention he has a backup of three other fighters, also in Varcolacs (THE most maneuverabel fighter in any of the AC games, ever!), although they lack the defense pod. Then, once you deal enough damage to Sulejmani to destroy the defense pod, you still can't hit him with missiles because he can roll and dodge and pull turns that no fighter you possess can match. So you have to whittle him down with machinegun fire, all the while he's flying loops around you, and a single missile will knock you out on the harder difficulties. Needless to say, I gave the bastard the finger when I finally managed to take him down. Still, it was a rough fight. Makes the joust against Pixy in Zero look like a cakewalk.

Metroid: Other M on Hard Mode is pretty difficult thusfar. I'm to the point now where basically, in any battle, I can't get hit. I die a lot.
