Indeed, Disney owned Miramax from 1993 to 2010 and they're who gave us Pulp Fiction. Disney has final say in what comes out but they're NOT afraid at all to release this kinds of contents. Miramax also distributed the Scary Movies 1-3, so yeah.

Well, as I said in the MK vs SF topic one stupid mother will see spider-man or possibly wolverine(seeing how he's a big deal on SHS) and think little billy will enjoy it without looking at the rating. Mother sees little billy impale some, rages, summons forth the soccer mom avengers, and thus controversy.

They can however, Put Darker characters in, Like Dormammu, Punisher, Carnage and Shuma Gorath and Blade, Soccer Moms wouldn't be that much of a problem with those.

Ha, well granted from what mugen has showed me some darkstalkers do show a bit of blood(the CVS or SVC version of Vampire Superman has a detachable arm that's one bloody flesh strings) but they wouldn't go all out with the capcom series. They wouldn't have like buckets upon buckets of blood spill when they do those moves, unlike MK.

There's buckets upon buckets of blood in Dark Stalkers and background stages more dark and scarier than Mortal Kombat's. Capcom's not shy of violence at all, ask Resident Evil, they COULD make an over the top violent fighting game like they used to with Darkstalkers and to an extent, Jojo's BIzarre adventure, that when you KO'ed the characters in a special fashion, a picture of them throwing up blood among other things would come out.

You should play the real Darkstalkers besides downloading the characters in mugen to see what I mean

However, this would mean nothing in Marvel Vs. Mortal Kombat as Capcom would take no part of it

But yeah, this could go in the 2D fighting games topic as it has nothing to do with Tekken Vs Street Fighter

Capcom’s annual “Captivate” event will be taking place in early April, and preparations are being made across the company to get different games ready to show off at the event. Street Fighter IV producer, Yoshinori Ono, for instance, is hard at work on Street Fighter x Tekken.

Also Asura's Wrath will be there as well.

Rumour: Street Fighter X Tekken roaster leaked
Capcom aren’t known for their secrecy, so it comes as no surprise that this leaked Street Fighter X Tekken roster could be the actual thing.

The Street Fighter roaster has a few surprises with the exclusion of 3 of the 8 original characters Blanka, Zangief, E.Honda not like we care if their missing. Ono chose to Include Dhalsim of all characters leaving out Blanka. Tekken roaster holds no surprises, with characters you’d expect making an appearance in the roaster. This is by no means final so we’re sure they’ll be some major changes before the game hits the streets.

I like the idea of Jin and Kazuya being able to transform into their Devil Forms, the only difference is that Kazuya's is limited, while Jin's last for the rest of the match.

Still just a rumor, don't want anything to be blown up about the roster like during Marvel vs. Capcom 3's time.

It looks like they add a Dino Crisis stage for some reason, and I think the game looks great so far. I wonder what the story will be like?

Seems that Evil Ryu might be in after all somewhat. From the cinematic trailer, after getting owned by Kazuya, Ryu's eyes were glowing red. Interesting...

And from how the cinematic trailer went, Jin wants to meet Ryu very much for some reason. So far, the story is looking pretty interesting.

That Dino stage I thought was more of a tribute to the Tekken Anime Movie.
