Too be fair Hedorah, Resident Evil was originally planned to be played in first person and it not like this is new, the Gun Survivor spinoffs come to mind.

Yes but, I remember loving the Mercenaries because of the frantic insanity. Having to stop and shoot, having to pause to heal. Just seemed way better. Thankfully first person is something I can choose not to use, if I ever get a 3DS I'm definitely getting this no doubt.

I still rather wait and see how the game turns out. I like how we are having the classic setting again and the online mode should be fun. I'm looking forward to the XBLA port of RE4 soon.

It doesn't look very classic when it's filled with soldiers. I don't like it, I don't deny that it CAN be enjoyed but this is not what I'm looking for.

Those were slightly decent games that happened to be ridden with loading screens and sucky online, these days none of those would be a problem. I would like them too.

I agree, RE4 is good as it is, the Wii version is as definite as can be.

RE2 would benefit much more from a remake.

So who downloaded Resident Evil 4 off of XBL and PSN? I download it the other night and it's still a great game. I forgot how much I loved RE4. Now they need to re-released RE2 or the RE1 remake soon.
