Wait what? Im talking about how I'd much rather keep my Xbox than go to Sony or Nintendo. Plus no new games would be released if the 360 is banned, unless thats what you're refering to when you mean "technological suicide"
Frank, this goes above the simple XBox shizzle. Hypothetically, if Motorola won in the US, all of Microsoft's products could be banned, not just the game consoles.
And banning all of Microsoft's products is technological suicide because some 80-90% of the US runs off Microsoft. Even the game industry could suffer from the sudden lack of product on the market. So, what Motorola and Microsoft (they're antagonizing this with their own lawsuit, keep in mind) actions are doing is putting markets on the line here.
If they realize that, it will most likely be settled outside of court.
Of course, entire companies do fall out of the gaming industry. I wonder would could follow the 360.
