Tim Burton and Michael Keaton are supposed to hop on for this project. It's supposed to take 26/27 years after the events of the first movie.

Hmmm... dont know how I feel about this. I loved the cartoon series. I hope it's not pedo-creepy like Burton's latest works. I dont want Beetlejuice's to make an appearance.

Anyone else getting tired of sequels for a film that is 20+ years old? And before any smart ass says it no I don't mean for long running series like 007, Friday The 13th and Godzilla where there were several films in between. I'm talking about films that come out then there is nothing for 10+ years and people move on only to hear a sequel is being made.

At least they got Michael Keaton to play the title character. I won't give any real opinion until more information is released--like a trailer.

I wonder if Winona Ryder would retake her role as Lydia Deetz?

I, for one, am looking forward to this and hope it gets done. I loved the first movie and the cartoon. I think it would be fun to see a sequel and am glad to hear Burton and Keaton are willing to come back for it.
