Monster Movie Talkback Thread #2: "Dog Soldiers"

Ah... the 2001 independent British movie, Dog Soldiers. Now this is one I really enjoy. Definitively my favorite werewolf flick. This film's got a lot going for it... an interesting story (soldier film that plays out like a zombie film, just with werewolves), characters you actually give a shit about, humor (the scenes with the cow carcass flying into the camp and scaring the crap out of everyone and the werewolf getting its finger hammered are just great), nice practical effects, and incredibly tall, sinister-looking werewolves. A really top-notch monster movie. I sincerely hope the proposed "Dog Soldiers 2: New Meat" gets made.

Love this movie, but no sequel for me. Descent: Part 2 was bad enough.

Love this movie, Turned out a lot better then i expected esp since i saw it on Sci-Fi. Solid Character's, The Wolves looked pretty good.. I was looking forward to the sequel but i heard it got abandoned which isn't always a bad thing. This film as a stand alone is just fine.

Either way id def recommend it.

Very good movie you ask me. The movie took Wolfs on a whole new level, the action was pretty good, and the characters where not that bad as well. I give it a 3.5/5.
