Dunno who this Shane Black is, but I'm rather disappointed Mike Favreau (sp?) isn't directing it. I loved the style of the first 2 movies.

I highly suggest you watch Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. It's one of the bdst dark comedies of recent years.

The first movie was great and I love it when I saw in theaters. The second movie had more action but the story and placing in the second movie could have been much better. I'm personally looking forward to the 3rd movie.

Iron Man is my favorite superhero movie ever, and Iron Man 2 is still an assload of fun despite its flaws. So yeah. I'm ready for Iron Man 3. Thankfully I have The Avengers to fill my bi-annual RDJ as Iron Man fix, so I'm okay with waiting an extra year between Iron Man films.

I am REALLY surprised they're putting off Mandarin again, but I'll remain excited for this film. Especially since Ben Kingsley might be in it. Which is awesome.

I'm not really sure how Iron Patriot will work into this...Seems a bizarre choice to make.

What has made me most excited for this movie were Shane Black's initial comments saying that this film would be more a techno-thriller than a superhero film. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing that so far. Granted, Robert Downey Jr. also said Iron Man 2 would be a super hero art film and look how that turned out.

Agree on the amalgamation of whiplash and Crimson Dynamo, though. Like Dynamo couldn't work on his own.

The Iron Patriot was an armor that the Green Goblin, Norman Osborn, wore to be a political pretty boy. Before he donned it, Stark was going to use it in memory of Captain America.

Iron Patriot is an armor, not a character.

Regardless of the armor's origins it was Noman Osborn who made it (in)famous. He is associated with the armor and the persona, as much as Tony Stark is associated with the persona "Iron Man".

Norman is my favorite marvel villain. I'm a bit sad that he won't be behind the suit. I'd rather have Iron Patriot not in the film it if can't be Osborn.

I agree. Words cannot describe just how badass Normie was as the leader of HAMMER. He is the Iron Patriot.
