To this day it amazes me at how much hate JP3 gets. I consider it to be the best of the trilogy.

(The best of the 3? That's a first) Your entitled to your opinion and i am glad you got something out of it. Though JP3 get's as much hate as TLW simply as i said because they didn't put forth much effort.

Spielberg pretty much phoned in most of TLW... Had he spent enough time with TLW as he did with JP.. TLW would have been huge, possibly bigger then JP.

The same goes for JP3 (read my post on the last page) So many simple little thing's done to that movie could have made SO much better..

What makes it even more depressing is the CGI is worse in them an it was nearly a decade later from the 1st, it was rushed an pretty much just a cash-in with no passion behind even making it..

I'm surprised it turned out the way it did.. If you read the production, the hell the cast went threw, an JP3 having the biggest budget of all 3 films, throwing the script out (including sets) out 5 weeks before shooting.... I'm amazing it didn't end up like SYFY's Sharktopus.

Jurassic park 4 will never happen because there's no passion, care or interest in putting forth any effort in making a new unique story or else they would have a decade ago... They'll wait till 2014/2015 latest 2016 an Reboot the Original Closer to the Novel, an do the same to The Lost World... Watch.

They were airing Jurassic Park and JP3 back-to-back not too long ago. (Not sure why they skipped The Lost World.)

To me, Jurassic Park III holds up a lot better than the first. After watching it again after so many years, the dialogue is just cheesy. The Lost World also, but that film suffers from just being overly long and boring.

Though I still consider the 1st Jurassic Park movie to be the absolute best, I don't think the 3rd film is as bad as everyone says, its a lot better than Lost World. Though like everyone else my only negative with Jurassic Park 3 is that there was little to no T-rex, had they made him win the the fight, or at least show him a few more times I would have liked the movie a little more. Still I have to admit, Spinosaurus is an awesome beast, the crocodile like head, the bigger arms, it was cool to see a new dinosaur that's just as formidable as T-rex, & I do consider Spino to be my 2nd favorite dino, after Rex. Other than that, I like the way all the other dinosaurs look, especially the Raptors they look awesome, I like how the female looks sort of like the original raptors, while the males are more colorful and have feathers on the back of their heads. Another thing I like about the movie is that we finally get to see the Pteranodons, since they were originally going to attack the human characters in the end of Lost World. Overall Jurassic Park 3, I like it for what it is, it just needed a little more dinosaur action.

IF this film actually happens, I would hope that they would finally give some respect to Triceratops. I believe Triceratops was screwed the most out of all the dinosaurs in the "Jurassic Park" franchise. In the first film he was sick and literally did nothing. In the second film he was shown for all of 6 seconds and in the third film he was only mentioned by name. As a lifelong Triceratops fan, I felt the films were a slap in the face. I want to see Triceratops in action (healthy) and if he fights T Rex, I hope he can hold his own (I know it's against the law to show a Triceratops actually beating a T Rex for once, but I would hope he wouldn't be so easily slaughtered like he is in virtually every Discovery Channel dinosaur show I've seen).

To me Jurassic Park 3 was the weakest movie because it had a weak story. The family in the film was annoying and the movie was way too short to be a Jurassic Park movie. The second movie to me still had the magic and enjoyment that the first movie did. I think Origins could be a fun fan film and the images for it on Facebook look pretty cool.

I respect that you have the brass grapefruit balls to say that JP3 is the best film of the JP series. I love the 1st JP film because it had convincing dinosaurs and the acting & music were pretty good and the effects for the dinos were top notch. The Lost World for what it is, can be decent. Only saw JP3 twice and it didn't impress me much at all.

JP3 was ok. But far worse than the first two.

TLW and JP3 are on the same level for me, because they appeal to different aspects of movie: JP3 is a terrible film, but it has an intense nostalgia and brings out my inner kid. TLW bored me as a kid, but it has a storyline that keeps my critical eye looking.

The original film can't be beat for me though.
