What I meant by that was that there is so much better comedy out there that they could be watching, yet they chose this crap. They could be watching Community, or How I Met Your Mother, or Big Bang Theory, or the Daily Show/Colbert Report, or reruns of shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? or Mystery Science Theater 3000. Hell, even America's Funniest Home Videos is more desirable than freakin' Family Guy. At least AFV doesn't make you disturbed, confused or enraged (or all three).

The fact that that keeps going throughout more than half the episode makes it even worse. It would be alright if it happened once in the episode, but it happens more than six times over the course of the episode. It's like Seth McFarlane is saying, "You will laugh at this! If you didn't find it funny the first time, maybe you'll find it funny the eighteenth time!"

Plus, Surfin' Bird is a catchy song. The whole joke makes me laugh and wanna get up and dance every time I see it.

Television shows can say or do things that put people into a rage, just like everything else. To an aspiring film and television critic, like me, bad and insulting movies and tv shows can be sometimes rage inducing.

The way I see it, I'm just passionate about what I like. And what I like is to see good movies and television. When I see something bad, I'm passionate about showing how and why it's bad. I don't see anything wrong with that.
