This Saturday at nine, Syfy will be making the third installment of the Lake Placid franchise, famous for having crocodiles and Betty White. So, anyone else going to catch this?

I might watch it if im home, Lake Placid was a good movie i thought. The Sequel was terrible unless they take this in a whole new direction i don't see it being much better. Well see though

The crazy thing is that nowhere can I find the director's name. That's not promising...What was he ashamed to be credited for it?! I did see a review too but it wasn't too good. Still I'm interested in giving it a peep. I really liked the first one atleast.

Since the last scene of the first film shows baby gators, I knew there was going to be a sequel. I haven't seen it, though I might catch number three. I won't hold high expectations for it.

Lake Placid one was a crap film.

Lake Placid 3 will be utter trash.

The idea is SyFy esque alone. The fact that the first movie even got a theatre run shoscks me to this day. The 2nd was hillarious how every actor was replaced by their look-alike lol It was like that scene in Spaceballs with the stunt doubles.

Carnosaur > Lake Placid.

I love Carnosaur but I recognize it as a B-film. I also recognize Lake Placid as a stinker.

Carnosaur is more entertaining as well. Betty White is done to death since Rue died.

Question, am I the only one that thinks, by the trailer, that it looks as if the effects on this one will be better than the second one? I mean clearly they pale in comparison to the first one, but still, that's a good sign.
