I wonder how many people list Godzilla: The Series just because - as fans - they feel they have to.

Maybe it was a good show and that people like it enough to list it down as their favorites.

Having actually seen it, I am confident that can't possibly be the reason.

Never watched "Godzilla: The Series", so I can't comment on it. The Hanna-Barbera cartoon, on the other hand, I can say PLENTY about. I remember watching it, as a kid, & thought it was fun. In adult retrospect, it was typical HB Saturday AM swill, & in light of the movie franchise, I think it's a slap in the face to real kaiju fans. The ship & crew members were bad enough, but Godzooky makes me want to drink - heavily. I think, as a kid, that flying ripoff was my LEAST favorite part of the show.
