Gundam goes Ultra Galaxy: Gunpla Builders G

With the Ultra series doing the Ultra Galaxy fad and Kamen Rider doing Kamen Rider Decade doing the same thing it isn't hard to imagine Bandai would do something similar to the Star Trek of Japan. Gundam fans I present to you with Gunpla Builders G:

The style of this upcoming three part OVA is basically like Ultra Coliseum except instead of cards there are model kits; this OVA is slated to be released this year. Confirmed mobile suits:

-The Main Protagonist Gundam (name currently unknown, looks like V2 Gundam without thrusters)
-Bawoo from Double Zeta in pink colors
-The life size Gundam in Tokyo Park (yes you're reading that correctly)
-Rick Dom 2
-Asshimar
-Hi Nu Gundam

Yes, you read correctly, this series will mark the very first animated appearance of the Hi Nu Gundam:

Image

It first appeared in the novel Char's Counterattack: Beltorchika's Children shortly after the release of CCA and has since been seen in various Super Robot War games and SD Gundam games (although IR said it never officially appeared. :P ) This is basically the Gundam universe's equivalent to EX Gomora and since it's appearance very few gundams after it are said to come close to it's power let alone surpass it and is supposed to be more powerful than any other UC Gundam save V2 Buster Assault from Victory Gundam; I know too little on Xi or Penelope Gundam to comment. There is one other mobile suit that is able to rival it in power: Nightengale

As far as I'm aware it's basically a rebuilt version of Sazabi with funnels and had less appearances than Hi Nu outside it's novel debut. Those of you unfamiliar with it it's basically Gundam's EX Red King. Will it also appear in Gunpla Builders? Too early to tell, but it would be fun.

This is only slightly vomit inducing.

Plamo Kyoshiro would like a word with you, AH. They already did something similar to Ultra Galaxy...back in the 80s.

It came out in 1982 and ended in 86. I think it had a sequel called Shin Plamo-Kyoshiro. Basically it's about kids using their model kits in virtual reality simulations. I got Plamo Kyoshiro on my comp or at least some of it. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/plamok ... /index.htm
