No. Given that the majority of Godzilla kaiju aren't sentient and are essentially just large animals, that's a little bit messed up. "Shrug", i digress do what you like, but i don't need the information.

Why do you find the first one to be so bad?

It's just a fun ride with some excellent effects.

Wooo! I was fearing we get another repeat of BVS's critical Reception 55% isn't too bad, it's only a 6 points away from the original and two away from the original Transformers I'm fine with that.

Now if it can only stay there.

Never found it to be fun and excellent effects is a stretch, their pretty damn good but for me that dosen't save a film from being bad.

Well..Resurgence has dropped to 45% on RT, 6.7 on IMDB, and 8/10 on IGN (But who cares about them?)

I've always found it to be a great reconstruction of the genre taking everything we like about the genre and bringing it all together in a new package with it's own take.

And it just jumped back up to 52%.

If it can reach 56-60% I'll be happy.

Hey, you haven't seen the movie yet.

You might find it to be good.

Though to be true I'm not so sure about this movie the destruction just seems to be far too over the top, I mean the first ID4 had the destruction scenes matter and not just in the super spectacle department. it just seems too reminiscent of 2012 where the constant onslaught of destruction just made it boring and that wasn't the case in ID4.

Though like I said we haven't even seen the movie yet.

I said I was never going to bother with this movie.

I saw it anyway.

The returning cast is decent, but the newcomers are sorely lacking in character. Moments that have an impact on the story are quickly skimmed over, therefore reducing their power and meaningfulness. It doesn't have the spirit of the original Independence Day, which--while not a masterpiece--was still an enjoyable popcorn flick that didn't try to be anything more than this. ID:R is contrived in some ways, and some things end up not making sense since it has an iffy continuity. My favorite example:

Spoiler:
Dr. Brackish Okun from the first Independence Day was supposedly killed by one of the aliens, had his pulse checked and everything. He was dead, right? Nope. He's not dead. He was just in a coma. That's why he's in this film.

This is a rental. It's not the worst movie I've seen this year. It's just forgettable.

The Queen was the best part. Along with the Aliens. Some fantastic CGI to go along. Goldblum and Pullman really helped the film too.

Seen it with my dad. I thought it was okay. Nowhere near as bad as what the critics are saying. I liked it.

I just saw it..... Let's just start with what was both good an bad with it.

- The characters from the Original, all of them were likable again and nice to see them back.
- Alien Queen (Was bad-ass)
- All the new characters were AWFUL... not one of them will you care to remember if they make another sequel
- No tension or anticipation what so ever
- You felt nothing for the human loss of life or destruction. Unlike the first were you felt the destruction this just felt like it came an went.

I dunno i was not expecting much but it was extremely forgettable, at best i'd give it a 4/10

P.S> the stupid little pokemon ball thingy that helped the humans against the aliens was so damn stupid... i literally rolled my eyes when it started english. It honestly felt like an entirely different movie during that moment. Like you were watching Galaxy Quest... Yes the one with the Tim Allen.

Sorry, I've just seen it, it came out late in Italy. Enjoyable, and I'm sure it will boost the sales of Dropzone Commander.

A) Spoiler tags bro, use em.
B) I loved it. It raised the stakes, it built on the original, it has great effects and the storyline was neat. Recommended.
