Part of me likes that they're trying to keep the films on a more "realistic" level, but then part of me thinks "Well, let's face it, Batman himself is only going to get more ridiculous as the movies go in order to maintain a level of special effects wowz0rzing. They could at least push it a little and include someone kinda-sorta realy like Bane." And then I hope they work in Adam West somewhere, even just as a cameo.

I think it'll be great. The Riddler is an awesome villain for a Batman/Nolan film and I think it'll be an awesome follow-up to the Joker's performance in The Dark Knight.

Now I wonder who they'll get to play The Riddler. Here's hoping its someone like Johnny Depp.

I still want Killer Croc for the next movie though. They could make him into a cannibal with a skin disease.

I'd like Scarface or Bane to make an appearance, but I dislike the "two villains per movie" trend in the movies they've set. I feel both Two Face and the Scare Crow could have been even better developed. I really liked those two characters.

Not just them, practically every superhero movie is doing this now. Especially in sequels. I'd rather see a better organized plot with a more fleshed out villain than two.

I'm just glad the Joker won't be returning. Someday when a new Batman series is produced? Sure. Take that risk and find a new actor worthy of the role. Until then let's not even try it if Nolan doesn't want to.

Here's hoping we get The Riddler. If we don't, I'd love to see Bane or Black Mask. Both can work if the story and acting are in sync.

Nolan's villains, for the most part, live on certain principles. Scarecrow lives by fear, The Joker by chaos, and Two-Face by chance. What theme will the Riddler have? :eh:

With the Riddler, I hope that Deadshot appears as some sort of hired gun and Riddler's hired assasin.

Part of me is happy, and part of me is disappointed, and for the same reason: This is what I expected. I'll wait til we see how Riddler's characterized, but I have a bad feeling about this one.

I actually don't believe it. I don't see this on any other website at the moment, unless I'm missing it, so I think its just more rumors.

I'd personally prefer someone like Catwoman or Deadshot or Black Mask or The Mad Hatter. Or hell, maybe a mostly-non villain like Huntress.

I'm sure if Nolan is behind this project, and the rumor is true, we'll end up with something interesting, although I think the pick would be disappointing considering Batman's fantastic rogues gallery.

I remember Nolan saying that Catwoman might not be in the movie due to the awful rep that the Catwoman movie that had back in 2004.

Wish they would've gone with a Black Mask and Bane duo myself.

After Inception I can't see how this won't turn out great. Nolan is the man when it comes to movies these days.

I hope this movie won't fall under the comic book movie curse where the 3rd movie sucks in the series.

Superman IV: The Quest For Peace and Batman & Robin were much much worse than Superman III and Batman Forever. So I'll be more worried about Batman 4.

Nolan said it would be last, and Im pretty sure most of the cast only signed for a trilogy, so yeah.

That being said, I sort of hope this doesn't turn true. Its definitely not 100%, since they just say someone on the inside said it, that doesn't always come true. The reason I don't like it is Joker did a lot of Riddler type stuff in TDK. Kind of seems like a rehash, though Nolan will probably make it work. Still, I'd rather see someone fresh, I'd like to see how Nolan would handle one of the monsters instead of the criminals. Monsters being Man Bat, Killer Croc, etc.
