Ironmans villain roster is kinda' lame.

Guess I gotta update my list now too.

The Avengers
Thor
Iron Man
Captain America
Iron Man 2
Incredible Hulk

I love em all, though. Great movies. It's kind of upsetting that Marvel's comics aren't as good as their films right now. I'm not enjoying them at all. Now if only Marvel/Disney could get their hands on some of the film rights to some of their other flagship characters. I'm still trying to accept that it just won't happen with Spidey, lol.

Ghost(rumor) and a group called the Mandarin are supposed to be in Iron-Man 3. Its going to be based off Extermis.

It's been a year since I actually voiced my opinion over the title for this thread..

Im going with Thor (2011). TIH is still great, but Liv Tyler IMHO phones it in more then Natalie Portman. While Thor is obviously eye candy, it does the character more justice.

EDIT:
How I rate, personally:
1.) Thor
2.) Iron Man
3.) The Incredible Hulk
4.) Iron Man 2
5.) Captain America The First Avenger

I cannot rate The Avengers yet, Im seeing it this weekend. Cap just felt rushed. To get it out before the Avengers. The film needed to be more Ultimates style, like the first movies and less 616. I still find Evans lacking as Cap, but I feel that's more writing perhaps then acting. He needed to be more soldier and less baby-face soldier of chance.

The Avengers - 10/10
Iron Man - 9.6/10
Captain America - 9.4/10
The Incredible Hulk - 9.1/10
Thor - 9.0/10
Iron Man 2 - 8.7/10

But that's just my personal opinion. Iron Man 2 could've been WAY better based off of Iron Man. Real close with Thor and Hulk, though I think I like Thor more, I think TIH is better.

What's the hate on IM2.

I though the final battle with Whiplash was a letdown but really enjoyed the rest.

I'm certainly more excited for IM3 than I am for other MCU sequels.

Iron Man 2 does very little to justify its own existence. Some of the action peices were nifty, but ultimately it failed to even meet the thrills of the first film let alone top them. Thown in is a nonsense subplot of Tony discovering a new element which provided a quick cop out solution to what could have potentially been a much more interesting story of Tony dealing with his mortality, and you get a major missed opportunity.

And Whiplash Dynamo blows. If you have no room to develop a supervillian amidst all the other crap in your superhero movie, you need to overhaul it. Seriously.

I enjoyed IM2 more than the first. Was hoping Black Widow would be back for the third one but, oh well.

I'm surprised you like Iron Man 2 better than Captain America. I just watched Cap and it eas really good. Wonder when they'll bring Red Skull back.

It seems widely known that Iron Man 2 is available on Netflix streaming right now but for those of you who haven't seen Thor may want to know that June 6th is the date Thor is coming to streaming as well.

Iron Man 2's story was pretty weak and the movie didn't feel fresh as the first movie. It's like how the second Jurassic Park movie was, not as great as the first movie but still a good film.

Can someone tell me why the Mark V suitcase Iron-Man armor in Iron Man 2 seems to be the armor Marvel choose to put everywhere for the second film it had the smallest part of all the armors.

It has the cleanest single view of Iron Man.

I think they were under the impression that it was the coolest part of the movie. It was indeed a nerd out moment, since in early Iron Man comics Tony kept his armor in a suitcase. The movie armor wouldn't loan itself to that idea so well, so a suitcase that could turn into armor itself? Yeah, that will get a fan excited. I remember seeing a toy for Mark V before the movie came outand wondering just what in the hell it was. I read the description and turned to my then-girlfriend and said "Please god let this be in the movie."

For outsiders, it was just a nifty visual, so yeah, I understand why they oversold it.

Whedon liked it enough to have it encorporated into the Mark VII.

But I still like the Mark VI. It had an aggressive, angular look to it with the triangle...
