This entire thread is warping my head. Now I have images of Sentinel's tenticale raping Deadpool through the mouth.

You people are sick.

Even rejected having the studio doing the billion dollar earning TRANSFORMERS when brought to him. Aparently his hatred towards giant robots stem from the fact his family once gang raped by a group of them when a child.

I liked First Class better than Wolverine and X3. But time travel just gets too messy. I hope they can pull it off somehow.

For the record, I actually liked X-Men Origins: Wolverine for about the first half of it. I thought it was almost X2 level, in fact. And then it reached the midway point and I realized they still had to deal with Deadpool, Gambit, Blob, Cyclops, Emma Frost, Sabertooth, as well as get Wolverine and Stryker to the point they were in the original trilogy. That clusterfrak is what killed Origins for me, not to mention the utter raping they gave Deadpool in every conceivable way. Why they waited until the second half of the movie before even introducing half of that crap is beyond me.

It looks like the Sentinels might be in this movie this time unlike they where in X3.

So would this movie also take place after X3 if Patrick Stewart and the other original cast are returning? Time Travel is going to make this movie into a total mess.

How so? Future past is an alternate timeline, right? Just make it so certain things changed OR X3 as the alternate timeline that gets changed!!! :D

Matt Reeves(Cloverfield, Let Me In) is doing the Apes sequel. So things are going the right way there. Unfortunately the same can't be said for Chronicle 2, in which the studio wants basically a rerun of the first film.
I'm glad to see Singer's considering to get back in the director's chair for this one. His return to the franchise in X-MEN:First Class as producer, and co-writer reinvigorated the franchise. Hopefully, Fox will let him go the way he wants with this ,and not stiffle the bloke like they did in the first two flicks.

None of this would be happening if Singer had done X3. :(

At least Dawn of the Apes is getting a good director for the replacement. They could have got someone like Greg and Colin Strause to direct it.

^^ Good. X-Men and X2 were good films. X2 IMHO is the best superhero film critically behind The Avengers.

Well, we'll see how this sequel turns out. First Class was very good, I thought, I still find myself watching it.

A lot of news popping up about this so why not a bump?

So far we have young and old Professor X and Magneto, Mystique, Beast, Wolverine, Rogue, Shadowcat and Iceman. Peter Dinklage is playing the main villain.

I'm excited about Singer returning but Jack the Giant Slayer looks a bit iffy.

I REALLY hope this is better than First Class. And for the love of god, give Iceman some more screentime.
