Ew soy milk. I grew up with whole milk with vitamin D!

If August Ragone's name is on it, Im not buying it. Sorry, his shenanigans with DAM and GvsMegs was enough to turn me off to anything he does, says, thinks or feels.

I wish I could put into words how ridiculous this sounds. I really wish I could.

So you don't intend to ever purchase or enjoy anything Japanese monster related ever again that might have even a small, trivial relation to August Ragone in some way, shape or form? Those Shout Factory Gamera DVDs and Sandy Frank MST3K sets can be enjoyed even if you completely ignore the bonus features featuring Ragone. It's pretty funny to think that this business with August and the Media Blasters releases could piss you off on such a deep, personal level that you could have a reaction like that. It's guys like you that have pushed August away from participating in forums like this. It's pretty sad.

...dude dont even talk to me about this shit. Look at all the threads you flare up with your toy obsessions.

And I meant 'buy it' as in 'believe him'. He's an idiot.

Let's just agree to disagree here you two. I can see this blowing up real quick. And wataru, I know you're expressing an opinion here, but August is also a member here, so TECHNICALLY, it could be considered flaming.

So yeah, let's just let this one go.

He is to me. And my opinion is the only one that matters to me.

Now, let's get BOT...

Mentioned above someone said Zigra was a chore to watch. I havent actually sat down and watched it in awhile but I agree, last time I saw it, it was a chore. Viras as well. Guiron was geting there as well, especially after the Space Gyaos scene. It's like they cheaped out on rubber suits and decided to focus on foil suited aliens and kids in fiberglass toys.

To be fair he hasn't posted since the Megalon debacle.

To be fair, while I didn't like Gamera vs. Guiron much, the "battle" between Space Gyaos and Guiron is my favorite scene in the entire showa series. It's just so much fun to watch; I laugh every time.

I agree, it's a fun scene. I personally like anything with Gyaos in it since Im a Showa Gyaos fanboy. But that scene just seemed to make Guiron better.

Guiron was a fun movie, odd pace, but the formula was still working. I haven't had a huge disappointing by watching most of the Gamera Showa series, nor any Gamera films for that matter. Again, I kind of expect them to have poor special effects for the laughs.
