I love how everyone ignores the "I have zero interest in manga whatsoever" parts of my recent posts. Lets change the subject: Over rated anime! Here are mine:

Over rated anime! Here are mine:

No one really cares, everyone has their own taste, AH. Plus, why would you post this when you yourself know, people are just going to rip it appart, call you names, and point out why you think they're over rated, and usually be right, in my eyes. You do this for pleasure, don't you?

Outlaw Star's ok. Just didn't get enough episodes to follow the Manga.

I'll admit I like Evangelion, but I think it's highly overrated. That's just me. Can I watch it? Yes. Can I enjoy it over and over? Yes. Is it the pivotal GREATEST anime ever? No.

Or maybe Naruto since basically nobody here like that.

I don't think you can call anything the "greatest anime ever" because people all have their own preferences. I for one just can't see what's so great about Cowboy Bebop that it always appears on Top Ten Anime Lists.

I will say that Ranma 1/2 - OVAs, TV series(es) and movies ARE THE GREATEST animes in the world.

....only Miyazaki's work comes CLOSE to kicking Rumiko Takahashi's off the hill as GREATEST ANIME WRITER/ARTIST EVER!

^ The pivotal ones are usually going to be DBZ and Sailor Moon, as they, for the most part, are part of the pioneers of anime that came over, semi-almost-notusually unchanged, along with Astro-Boy and Speed Racer.

See, there you go again, a post where you think you're word is god... As I said, Speed Racer, Astro-Boy, Sailor Moon and DBZ are the Pioneers of anime, you can probably throw Lupin into that catagory as well.

I have to get around to reading or watching Ranma 1/2. I've heard tons about it,but never got the chance to read or watching anything related about it. Also Anyone watch or read D.Gray-man? I haven't watched the Anime,but the manga is AWESOME. Allen Walker to me made clowns cool. I like Naruto too so your not alone Stuckey.

My mistake, I quoted the un-edited one. But in all seriousness.
Speed, Astro-Boy, Goku, Sailor Moon, and lesser extent, Lupin, are the leaders of the anime swarm from Japan to America. It wasn't until Pika-fvcking-chu joined the ranks did Anime become more mainstream here.

I LOVE the Naruto manga, I HATE the anime. So I can see your point.

But his slam on Macross. Macross 7 is the WORST Macross series EVER! E. V. E. R. This includes the horrible re-cuts of Mospeada and Southern Cross into Robotech!

@Bret - the entire series is SO MUCH FUN! The first "season" and first movie are so great. I love the music too.
