Yes, those are very well plotted out... Also, forgot to mention the No Need for Tenchi series of mangas...But good luck finding those...

They're entertaining. Ryoko even picks up temp jobs to help with funds for the Shrine.

Did you catch Ryo-Ohki 3, the final chapters of the OVA series?

Oh man... Noike is a totally, unnessasary character, but in the damn novel, she, Ayeka AND Ryoko married Tenchi... :dizzy: And from what I can tell, Ayeka's a damn bondage queen, so Tenchi's got her, a cop, and a lust filled space pirate demi god... How the hell does he choose who he wants at night?

Also, the little cameo by the GXP gals was nice. Oh, and the third goddess taking the form of a floating chibi of chaos was down right adorable. You get the DVD set where they show you on-the-scene locations of certain spots? Very nice and kinda surprising.

The first Tenchi OVA will always be the best in my opinon. The second was good, but Doctor Clay & Zero are nowhere as good as Kagato if you ask me. The 3rd OVA is pretty good as well since Z was awesome, and the idea of Chousein Goddess was pretty cool.

I still have yet to see GXP (Seen parts of it), or Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure though.

I enjoyed it, I liked the closure. The movies are the definetive Tenchi for me.

I think revolution-anime.net has some GXP.

Oh, I really only liked the second Tenchi movie, Daughter of Darkness. The first one just messes with the whole mother thing for me...
Also, I hear rumors that Tenchi and Sinshi from GXP are going to cameo in the new series as well.

O.O I shall have these new series for my collection!

I liked Tenchi Muyo! The Movie: Tenchi in Love for the story, art and characters. I loved see Achika and Nobuyuki getting together.

I liked Tenchi Muyo! 2 Daughter of Darkness for Tenchi and Ryoko becoming alot closer.

I liked Tenchi the Movie 2: Tenchi Forever for Ayeka finally giving up and realizing Tenchi and Ryoko arent meant for each other.

....now I want to watch Shin Tenchi: Tenchi in Tokyo.

It been years since I watched the movie, I remember one of the movie which had Kain as the main villain. The manga is better then the anime IMO. I think Tenchi in Tokyo was awful though.

The manga of the movie came out after the actual movie.

You gotta divorce yourself from the OVAs and Universe before watching Tokyo.

Lamango if you liked Yu Yu Hakusho you might like Hunter X hunter. It's made by the same person.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

Say O Supreme, any chance you found episode 22 of Shin Mazinger Z anywhere?

And because no one else brought it up, Mazinkaiser SKL (pronounced Skull) coming this December!

The title mech being like Black Getter? The end is near! Of course the Nadesico movie's main mech (Black Selena) was basically a real robot version of Black Getter, so I should be saying "A titular super robot being like Black Getter? The end is near!"

Whoo! Second post so far here. Anyway, I've been on/off about anime since back in middle school. I only just now have been properly introduced to FLCL and Eureka7 (both of which are excellent) and I'm becoming a lot more open.

I remember in middle school I was somehow hypnotized by Sailor Moon (I think it was the short skirts), which was kinda of a guilty pleasure. A friend I had mentioned the show to called me early in the morning one time and was like, "you watch this crap? It's so girly," to which I replied that he woke me up (when in fact I was already awake, watching Sailor Moon :) ) I eventually watched Ghost in the Shell, which was weird as all get-out, and I kinda/sorta liked it. After that, I grew disinterested in anime. Through college, I got to know a lot of anime fans and was turned off by them, so I really became disenchanted.

...'till I was forced to watch FLCL. I was iffy about seeing it, but I ended up loving the hell out of it (I even plan on buying the new R1 when it comes out). Eureka7 was great, and I will soon be treated to Gurren Lagann, and I may eventually watch Evengalion. But for right now, FLCL is my absolute favorite. It's just all-around awesome.

Also, a friend who visited Comic-Con purchased a DVD of something called "Princess Tu-Tu," which is bat-shit crazy and great. I've only seen two episodes, but I definitely recommend it.

sorry AH, I thought you had them all. I'll see if I can find the later ones, although I will be disconnectedfor a few days (going camping). Also cant wait to catch that preview when I get home (work wont let me into youtube :x )

Still hoping someday for a ShinGetter/Mazinkaiser crossover

Reading Manga is no different then watching anime, and they are pretty much Japanese comics. No different then reading a American Comic from Marvel, DC, and Image.
