I rarely watch movies on cable anymore, but I watched the first film on FX the other night and I still love it. I've said this enough as it is but goddamnit I hope the new Godzilla film is a classy sci-fi reboot like Star Trek or Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Despite being huge, Hollywood blockbuster type films I really think they're gonna stand the test of time.

AICN is one of the sources of this news, I don't believe this one bit. Not only is Benedict not physically intimidating in the least like Khan HAS to be, it goes against Abrams to outright lie like that. He HIDES information, not lies about it.

Im actually gunned to see this. ST 2009 is an amazing film that turned a concept gone stale into something fresh. I personally dont like TOS because the Federation is arrogant and gung ho in it and theyre supposed to be "advanced". They were doing so well in WOK, SFS and TVH and then dropped the ball on FF and UC. But ST 2009 made it upto me.

I hope someone else gets toy rights though. The Playmates toys were uber basic, yet cheap and theyre like 97 cents on eBay now.

Nutkicks would be astronomical if that turd ever showed up in a ST media entry again. ....FF is such a horrible film. The humor is so forced. Not as bad as Insurrection but damn.
