Ya know what, I'm going against the grain here.

There is nothing even remotely interesting about this film's premise. I can only suspend my disbelief so much, and the trailer already past that limit.

The film actually focuses on a group of people on a hillside who are watching the carnage in the town through Binoculars, with the main cop (The one who pointed out what their suspect looks like) being the only person in the town in on the ruse. It's kind of a weird meta-type story and it's at least worth a look. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

There are some very funny moments, such as the sherrif trying to convince his underlings that they are, in fact, in a movie and becoming increasingly flustered doing so. Probably would have played much better as a short film, as it comes veeery close to wearing out it's welcome near the end.

I caught it on TV, and only watched from when he made the trucker's head explode, to when the guy in the hotel room killed the turkey. After that, I just said, "No way man. No way in God's Hell."

I expected something campy and hilarious. Instead, I got something that was dull and boring. Rubber sucked.
