I personally wish to not see any Aliens in this film; that series has been driven into the ground. Let's hope this is something truly new.

This movie will make up for Robin Hood for sure and I think it's great to have Ridley Scott return to the series. Other then New Nightmare (1995), what other series had it's director return for the first time years and make the movie good for once?

Honda with Terror of Mechagodzilla? Well, I guess this one is open to debate.

This is the movie I want to watch next year. We had enough bland and commercial "Sci-fi" already; it's time for some good, deep and successful "Science Fiction".

I remember that Lance Henriksen said that he was not going to be in the film? I guess things must have changed?

I'm actually looking forward to this movie.

I've always liked the Alien franchise (minus the horrible AvP movies), and even though Prometheus isn't an Alien film, it still takes place within the same movie-verse and will have 'hints' that connect it to the first Alien film. Not in a prequel sort of way, but in a way that lets people know that the films are related in a sense. I like the general premise of Prometheus as well - mankind searches out for the alien race that taught them to be civilized in the first place. Very interesting stuff.

I'd definitely go to the theater to see this!

Something probably changed somewhere along the way. Maybe he'll have a cameo of some sort as an android, who knows..

The IMAX trailer

I still like that they not showing much of the plot as always. It still gives me a creppy feel when watching it.

This movie is quickly becoming one of my most anticipated for the year. Seriously, it looks so exciting. Ridley Scott's sci-fi work has always had a special place in my heart and seeing a new version of this vision is pretty damn exciting.

I'm looking forward to this movie more then any other film of this year as well. It seems like this movie has everything that made the first Alien film so amazing. I just hope this movie will give Sidley Scott a great comeback again.

After watching the Trailer for a couple of times, its safe to say that this movie is becoming
one of the best Sci-Fi for this year. Ridley Scott deserves every praise he is getting now.
Unstoppable Fury , Unthinkable Power , Unbreakable Will.

What part exactly? You're probably just seeing the Giger-esqe stuff that's all over the place in this film (He is working on the film, after all). There aren't going to be any xenomorphs in this film, at least not in the traditional sense.

Here is the 2+ minute trailer that was just released in the past hour (different than the one IMAX teaser shown earlier). I can't stop watching this!

I'm assuming you meant 1:37; 1:38 is an overhead shot of the infamous space jockey chair/room.

Looks like their could be a body there, but it's hard to tell, even in 1080p. We'll just have to wait and see.
