I'm guessing with the kiddie success to Alvin and the Chipmunks, studios are hitting up the old cartoons now for inspiration. Scooby Doo came out quite some time ago, even the Flintstone's came out more than a decade ago.
But with the advent of the Smurfs, the crackpot attempt with Marmaduke, I guess it was just a matter of time. Shit, next thing you know, we'll be having underwater adventures with the Snorks.
I'll take a Peter Jackson Magilla Gorilla to go please. X_X

This looks terrible. I think I'll go crawl back into my whole and hibernate until this film is forgotten.

Strange, I thought it was kind of funny. Not that I'll see it mind you, but it definitely looks better than the two Alvin movies.

If the studios want to really mind rape people, they should just pool together the whole Hanna Barbara line up and make a Laff-A-Lympics movie.

I have a sneaking suspicion this is going to be terrible, but I'll probably go see it nevertheless.

Hoooooly crap, that looked bad. Just another Hanna-Barbera cartoon getting the live-action/CG hybrid raping from the looks of things. Bleh.
