Clones Wars is confirmed for a season 6 and a possible season 7.

I wish that they would show around episode III in the last season then maybe they could feature Ahsoka in episode III and order 66 without her being in RotS the movie.

with all due respect for Star Wars, and the desire to see a long-lived TV seies of anykind, it seems like a hollow victory. Lucas has enough money to privaetly fund this show for 10 more years if he wanted to. Ratings have been terrible since the lackluster beginning of season 3, and only occasional spikes when you throw in Chewbacca or Darth Maul. I want a show to succeed on its own merit, not because its creator has a bazillion dollars. It appears every other show I like is doomed to end in 2 seasons or less. Transformers:Prime might be the exception.

Anyways, I do encourage people to give the show a shot. Despite and iffy first season, I easily think it's one of the better Star Wars properties in recent years.

When The Phantom Menace got re released in 3d Adult did a marathon of a story arc it had to do with witches or something like that seemed pretty interesting. Introduced Maul's brother too. I think those are the first full episodes I have seen though.

Hmm interesting. The early post-ROTJ novels were very interesting. Odd Lucas used an idea he didnt make up in a canon SW series.

I wish they'd do SOMETHING with the Hapans. Even the Empire didnt mess with the Hapans.

Just to clarify when you say "They" do you mean have the Hapan Consortium appear in the Clone Wars animated series, or have some of the EU Novel authors make the Hapans a focal point of a future novel? Oh and Lucas has let the show runners use a few ideas form the EU novels that he didn't create himself.

That's one of the better Clone Wars arcs. You can actually find most of the episodes on youtube. I'm a big fan of the Umbara storyline.

I dont think the Hapans would work in The Clone Wars. Perhaps some EU novels, or maybe in Episodes 7-9. Id like to see a New Republic/Old Empire/Hapan military like film. Yknow...get back to wars...in the stars.

The only problem I would have with ep 7=9 their are too many good arcs to do in just three movies, Jedi Academy trilogy, thrawn trilogy, Cadeus era and the more recent Fate of the Jedi and of course the Vong War.

They'd need to relate to Episodes 4-6. Id say go with Thrawn. Can introduce Jacen and Jaina and then maybe a another CGI show with them Young Jedi Knights.

I dont forsee anything Vong or Darth Cadeus doing that well. Too far off and too off the track from the original 9 movie era.

This is probably old news for anyone who cllects Star Wars Toys. I just admire them from afar since there are just way too many.. However This is proably the closest I've been to purchasing a Star wars toy in almost 15 years!

They made Jacen and Jana Solo 2 years ago. Those were the last figures I bought. I adore all EU figures from pre-TPM. I have the original Mara Jade, Jedi Leia, Dark Luke, Young Palpatine, Kyle, Dash...

LOL I still got mine. I have two boxes full of SW Micro Machines. I love those things. Id set them up and play with them as a kid.

Anybody saw the 2 part fan edit called The War of the Stars? I can't describe how well made it is.

Part 1 is an edited version of A New Hope that effectively turns the film into a grindhouse era scholckfest, complete with ridiculous plot twists, gore and missing reels. They even used a beaten 16mm print to give it that look, as opposed to those annoying digital scratches that Tarantino and Rodriguez used for their Grindhouse.

Part 2 combines the last films and ditches the grindhouse feel in favor of more twists. In case you wanted to know what turn the franchise might have taken if Vader wasn't Luke's father, this is an interesting alternative. The music changes also make for a more gothic atmosphere.

Highly recommended.
